I go to Parx a couple times a week. Win some, lose more often. It's a casino. It's just close to home. The slot service on the floor can be unbearable. I had a voucher fail to print and it took 20 minutes for a slot person to come. This was the second long wait in a month. Their comp system is well below industry standards. It takes tons of play to earn decent food comps. You earn one point for $ 20.00 in slot play, one point for $ 60.00 in video poker play. Ten points in a day will earn you $2.00 extra play. I recently ran up 63 points and received less than $2.00 in comps. Yeppers that's 63 points X 20.00 = $1,260 played through the machines. That is just not reasonable. They did give me 8 monthly free plays of $ 15.00 per day. Some times there's a bonus day with an extra 5, 10 or 15. The food choices are limited but the ladies that work at foodies and the Earl of Sandwich are nice and polite. The cleanliness in the casino in the morning is good. I've been there on a saturday night. never again. AS busy as it is they do a good job keeping the rest rooms clean. Overall it's a racino, that want's to grow and be a casino. They don't need to give the player's anymore as they have such a big customer base with no competition, why bother? I refer to some of the patrons as the great unwashed. These people eat at slots, use the floor for an ashtray, leave food between the machines, so it's not all Parx's fault. They don't treat their homes like that. So, to be fair Parx is an average casino with no competition. They could improve their comps a bit and increase free play.

The Parx slogan is "get lucky in no time", it should be "get broke in record time"! Every month they record profits because they offer free play almost daily that evaporates in minutes as they rig the machines to pay you nothing on it. Once the cash comes out, the slots tease you with near misses so that you pump more and more cash. Once your nearly broke you get a small payback that again sucks you in for more losses. The most ludicrous part is the next day, when you see that you earned $10 of "extra free play" on a thousand dollar loss, and maybe $5 in food comps. This "reward" is for a Black Elite status player. Bottom line if you never have been at Parx ... don't go.

PARX Casino continues to be number one alright in casinos that royally suck. Not only are the slot payouts atrocious, the comps are equally as disgusting and the customer service as always the worst I have ever seen anywhere.
I reluctantly stopped in earlier this weekend. I actually saw and heard a patron screaming at the outside security person because of the excessive trash and garbage in the parking lot. It makes this place so non-appealing seeing trash all over the place. And when you go inside, it looks so run down and dingy. Months ago, management promised to renovate. As of today, with the exception of their new section, they have done nothing to upgrade the remaining sections of the casino floor. In addition, smoking policies are not enforced where even in non smoking sections, patrons are lighting up and nothing is being done to stop them. They still don't have many of the amenities other casinos have like buffet restaurant, shopping mall, hotel, parking garage, etc. They really have nothing to offer.
Because of the horrendously bad payouts, I actually ended up leaving inside of 30 minutes. That's how incredibly awful it was. And anyone who thinks this casino is " good" ought to really have their heads examined. It is so far from being a "good" casino. Obviously, these people don't get out enough.
So my advice to all of you people out there who are considering going PARX, please do yourselves a favor and stay clear away. There are many other casinos that are so much nicer, treat you so much better, reward you very generously, and are also much safer. Just recently, an 83 year old man was mugged at PARX. And on a personal note, on a previous visit,  I was verbally and physically threatened by another patron, where he and his wife stole my money and my machine with my players card thrown to the side. I stepped away for 90 seconds to get more money. The machine I was playing had a high major and minor jackpot which I was trying to win.    PARX did absolutely nothing to protect me. Not only does PARX not pay out, you can also risk your own life. From my experience, management and staff could not care less about you. Ladies and Gentlemen, its simply not worth the drive, your time ,your money, and now your life. Life is much too precious. Again, I don't want to stress this enough. Do yourselves a huge favor. STAY CLEAR AWAY!!!!!!Don't ruin your day...or risk your on safety by going to PARX. Trust me. If you do go to this disgrace of a casino, you may sorely regret it later!!!!!!

I find it very hard to give this casino a satisfactory  review. When you walk in, the casino looks so run down. Trash is everywhere. Inside and out. From broken beer bottles in the parking lots, trash littered all over the place. To cigarette ashes, spilled drinks and discarded trash by nearly every machine. People smoking in non smoking areas, where employees walk by and do absolutely nothing to enforce.   And from uncaring management who are such pricks and deliberately ignore any patron concerns that may come up.  They never ever respond back to calls or emails and are always unavailable in the facility to reach out to.   Including the Player hosts,  who are supposed to assist the patrons.  Parx is certainly dubious for ripping people off with incredibly tight slots, tables, along with the world's worst customer relations skills  I have ever seen anywhere at any establishment.   On top of that, Parx brands themselves as having the "highest payouts" and the "loosest slots." And let's not forget good people, anyone who walks in is guaranteed by Parx to "get lucky in no time" Another false statement, another trashy lie... so very far from the truth. Its much more like getting UN-LUCKY in no time... And also let's not forget the lame and thoughtless promotions they come up with.  Not only do they run out of product and not order enough to accommodate the mail out advertisements they send out,   they always offer you the absolute bare minimum prize.    For example, free slot play can range from 20-500.00, or 20.00 to 1,000.00 where you end up with a measly 20.00 minimum. Never is the higher amount ever awarded.......... Also, they have the absolute worst point system ever,  where it is very difficult to obtain points. Especially when the slots are always tight and not paying out. The points range from 0 to 1,000 for their red card holders, 1,000 to 7,500 for their green card holders and 7,500 and above for their black card holders. And you end up spending hundreds (or thousands) of dollars to qualify for certain promotional giveaways and end up getting a measly $30.00 prize.  Just an example.
When you walk into their food court, the counters by Foodies are disgusting with food and liquid spilled all over the counters and floor.  Walkways are filthy with spilled beverages where someone can easily fall and get hurt.  The service is painfully slow at best and the food is equally disgusting.  Parx unfortunately has nothing else to offer, other than Parx Grill, which is a rip off, and Chickie and Pete's which is just average at best.
And let's not forget, the "new" section that recently opened. It is nothing more than a disaster just waiting to happen.  An extension of their already s-hole of a casino.    Over 700 pieces of garbage slots to play on that are just as tight, if not, tighter than the older machines. Very unimpressive. They even have a store that is the size of a walk in closet...if not, smaller.  I kid you not.....  And still no buffet or other amenities that are offered to valued patrons other casinos have. Compared to other casinos like the Sands Bethlehem, Mt Airy, or the Borgata, Harrah's or even Sugar House for that matter,  this casino by far falls well short of every single metric. And they call themselves the best? Are you f' n  kidding me Parx? One thing is for certain.  Parx Casino is truly an embarrassment.....A total and complete disgrace to our area, and to the entire East Coast.

These crooks have the balls to roll up on me and tell me I have to pay back a ticket voucher I found on the casino floor. They say someone claimed it lost which is BS because they would not show me who that person was. Some young punk comes up to me and tells me I have to give the money back. He thought he was a tough guy and I do remember faces. Apparently in PA not only can these casinos rob you at the machine but they have the right to claim any ticket on the floor and it's not finders keepers. Well here is a little news for these legalized criminals. I will no longer be spending my hard earned money at this place!
