Ive been going to parx for 2 yrs. I have been paid many jackpots. Some days i dont win anything. Thats ok, we all want to win, but that cant happen. People have to remember, casinos are a business. They have to make money to pay there employees and pay there taxes as well. Yes i do think it takes a little long to get a drink from a waitress. It may be a staffing issue. Most businesses are including mine, hire less people to do more work. Thats just the economy we live in today. I dont like the comp system, and not sure but think you have to spend 20 dol. To get 1 point. The staff everywhere has been great to me. I will return.
I was passing philly and decided to stay one night in area to play at parx. The outside was beautiful with big screens and colorful changing walls. My first impression when i walked in was vegas like. You want to see bland go to empire city and monticello. I first played during the day. My fav is quick hit playboy. I hit a bonus for 180. Then i walked around. Had a burger and fries and it was really good. Made all my money back and walked away to come back at night. Returned that night played a different playboy and hit a lot of bonuses. Then went to the machine i played earlier. Had terrific hits especially a bonus for over five hundred. Ordered a drink got it right away and talked with the pleasant woman at players club who knew where all the machines were. I never use players club because i never win when i use it. I think the people who gave this casino a bad rap don't play right and lose a lot because i found nothing wrong with it. There are certain times you play where you can win at any casino. do your homework. If you want a very tight casino go to empire city. You will see the difference.
