I love to play the slot machine and Atlantic City was my go to place. I couldn't get to Atlantic City as much as I wanted to however due to the long ride from NYC. When it was announced that Resorts World was opening at the Aqueduct I couldn't wait to try it out.

I knew that there would only be VLT's there and I hoped the experience was a bad as when I went to Yonkers Raceway when I lost everything. I found the machines at Yonkers very tight.

Resorts World is not a bad casino. The Buffet is SUPERB and I recommend everyone go there to try the food.

The first time I went to Resorts I found the slot machines were not as tight as they were at Yonkers Raceway, but I still left broke.

The next few times I went to Resorts I walked out of Resorts with more money than I walked in there with.

I will say whenever I go to Resorts I find that many of the machines that I want to play are not available and it is a bit crowded but its NYC so I expect that.

The restrooms were surprisingly clean and the casino floor are well kept.

While Resorts World is no Atlantic City, it is a good place to get a slot "fix" without going all the way to Jersey. Just play smart.

Just read Ronnie's review. He is so correct. The machines are a scam; no RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR; machines pay out like scratch off lottery tickets. When is the public going to understand? There are members in my family that continue to go although they KNOW IT IS A SCRATCH OF TICKET! I simply do not understand. Either you go to Atlantic City, Connecticut or Pennsylvania you will NEVER get an even break in NEW YORK. Shame on people!! I went on two occasions to Resorts World and Yonkers before realizing, after doing some research on the Internet that the games at these two locations are scratch of lottery tickets whereby only a certain number of winners will collect. This is also true to the Monticello location. New York State is really duping the gambling public; and they keep on going.

There's not enough negative numbers in the number system to represent how awful this place is. Do your homework......upon opening this casino generated about 50 million in a few months (or close to that number), this money came from the players.....lots of losing bets equals more money for this casino. Makes me wonder......why no real human table games? Why are the computer controlled game not ran off a random system like AC or mohegan? How come resorts world don't send members "free bets". Why do many of their machines freeze and if u win big like 720, you risk getting taxed? .....the machine will print the ticket will not allow you to play your money.....you HAVE to go cashier. Good going resortworld.....If I was to lose my money, I RATHER LOSE IT IN AC OR MOHEGAN WITH REAL PEOPLE.

When is the public finally realize that the slot/video poker machines are fake. They are not true machines operated by a Random Number Generator. These machines operate similar to a scratch lottery ticket. There are only a certain number of winners. As for video poker, the machines advertise 9/6 Jacks and Better but it is not true; it is fake. These video poker machines pay out 92% as opposed by the 99.5% true video 9/6 poker. The public is duped.
