Purchased 2 rooms, neither ready until after 3 o'clock. Construction crews were working on the floor above me every day and The crews outside working there machinery that started up at 6 AM every morning.Construction in the downstairs lobby made it very difficult to enjoy the casino, bar, and restaurants. I had no idea that smoking was permitted on this property nor did they have a non-smoking area for gaming so I was able to breath cigarette/cigar smoke for three days. Upon arrival to the hotel and looking out my room window I found that the pool was completely drained and unavailable for use . That's kind of a huge thing when you're at a South Florida resort and you do not have a pool to go to or relax around. Played the tables for 4 to 6 hours a day and received $ 2.53 on my players card , and yes I play $25 minimum hands. NO craps table the roulette table and no sports gaming, also very disappointing. Dealers couldn't care if you here ther or not.
All in all for the price I paid for the rooms the amount of amenities I received the comps I received, this hotel offers no reason for me to return.

Took wayyyy to long to figure this out. I've gone to this casino about every week for five months and only twice walked away with more than I came in. I have NEVER had a casino with such poor payouts on slots!!! (My list includes Trump & one other on Atlantic City Boardwalk; NYNY, Ballys, Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Luxor, LV Hilton, Treasure Island/TI, Stratosphere, Palms & a couple downtown in Vegas; Mountaineer in WV; a floating casino on the Mississippi; Route 66, Sandia, & Hard Rock in Albuquerque.) I go with anywhere from $50 to $100 and this place is the absolute WORST with machines that pay. To add "insult to injury", their Players Club is STINGY beyond belief!! In 7 months, I've received $30 in free play TOTAL (on the flip side, Sandia in Albuquerque ALWAYS gave me anywhere from $5 to $30 in free play weekly and the machines would keep you playing or actually pay off!). And you need the VERY best in luck getting a cocktail waitress to get you a drink (even a Pepsi). I've played over two hours numerous times and didn't get a lousy glass of water! This place BITES beyond belief! I noted that one one occasion where they promoted a Monday drawing hourly (St. Patrick's Day of all days!) that they failed to hold their advertised hourly drawing. IF Florida has a gaming commission, this place is in SERIOUS NEED of being investigated!! Today was my LAST day at playing here! On my way out I folded up my worthless Player's Club card and threw it away. I should note that I had emailed the casino three times complaining about the lack of drinks/servers, lack of holding advertised contests, and how dang cold the place was, and they NEVER responded even once! They simply do NOT care or treat customers well. If you even THINK about going here, I'd suggest you simply find a homeless beggar at an off ramp and hand them your money. You'll probably find it more enjoyable than going to the WORST CASINO EVER!! Don't believe me? See for yourself. (Also read other reports) I'm not kidding. I've been playing slots for 25 years and have never had ANY casino consistently pay out very little to nothing as this place! (One other side note, the "runner up" for worst casino would have to be Hard Rock (name now changed back to Isleta) in Albuquerque.. but not nearly as bad as this Hard Rock. Florida casinos are the worst I've been to... period. And this Hard Rock is the worst I've been in the entire U.S. (probably been to about 25 to 30 U.S. casinos and 4 in Spain).

I love this casino and while the actual hotel and casino are beautiful, if you are playing slots don't plan on winning. There is very little payout compared to Micouskee, the food prices are ridiculous. A tip is to go across the street to the Seminole and eat at the nice buffet. We usually start there and then go to the H.R. Casino to play. Also, I asked staff what the % of payouts are and no one seems to have an answer. I hear regulars complain that there just aren't enough payouts. As a recent member of the Players Club, there should be more drawings, more incentive to stay and play as they do at the Mardi Gras Casino. Best of luck to everyone!

Not only do I enjoy playing video poker here, but there is also a ton of stuff to do. Lots of shopping, great restaurants and fun bars. There are also some pretty nice nightclubs, but it's not really my scene. Gaming floor is very clean and not as smokey as it could be. Customer service is okay, but sometimes when it's busy it can take a little while to get some help.

Management has now made a decision that no motor homes are allowed on the property. When asked where I should park, they said they didn't care as long as it was not on their property. So, I just saved my money fro my 10 day trip to Las Vegas in Feb. I imagine their attitude will change when real casinos are allowed in Florida, something the state is considering.
