I play here on a regular basis... mainly Texas Hold'em. Played for 4 hours, and ended up $45 down on the last hand I played... so sad.

Lots of tournaments and bonus programs. 8 deck shoe game with blackjack, but high minimum bet limits. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The casino installed Claas III Vegas-Style slots many months ago and the gaming machines are better because they are no longer based on bingo.

For $1 video poker players the casino offers 9/6 Jacks and 8/5 bonus poker. At the quarter level there are 8/5 (and 7/5) Jacks.

On June 22, 2008 they added blackjack and other card-based table games, such as baccarat, pai gow poker, three card poker and let it ride.

The blackjack rules are basically the same as in Atlantic City: dealer stands on soft 17, split pairs up to three times and double down on any two cards. The casino?s advantage against a player using perfect basic strategy was .44% with an eight-deck shoe and .42% with a six-deck shoe.

The Hard Rock Casino can compete with most major Las Vegas casinos as far as being a first-class facility.

Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of Class II gambling, so I don't play any of the slots or video poker games in there because they are all based on bingo.

The Tribe is in negotiations to bring in Class III gambling which would allow them to have real video poker and slots.

When that happens, hopefully they will offer some competitive paytables on their VP games.

It would also be nice if they comped your drinks when you played, but I don't think that will ever happen as they really don't need to do it.

This has to be one of the worst places to play. They won't report paybacks so we can only imagine how low it is. My guess is 50%.

Amenities comparable to low-end casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City but not close to those cities' high end properties or the Indian casinos of Connecticut.

Nonetheless, a definite "do not miss" for any gambler who finds himself in southern Florida.

Would greatly benefit from addition of table games and healthier payouts on the simulated slots.
