Stayed here last year for a buddy's bachelor party weekend and was really impressed. For one all Hard Rock properties are fantastic if you are into rock memorabilia like I am.
The rooms continued with the rock motif and the bathrooms were especially cool. I really enjoyed my stay. The pool area was nice although I didn't spend more than a few hours there all weekend.
We had nice gaming there but mostly enjoyed ourselves walking around the entertainment complex. There are many bars and restaurants with enough variety to suit most young people. Murphy's Law was a highlight.
All in all I really enjoyed my stay here although it wasn't cheap. But I would come back for sure.
I've visited this casino at least ten times and I have yet to win anything. I've tried playing all types of slots and haven't had a bit of luck . In addition, I've never seen anyone hit anything of any size. Several times, I just wandered around to see if anyone was doing well but never did see a hit that required any payout. Only good thing is I can park my motorhome in the parking lot and wait for my wife's 6 AM flight home! Very convenient to airport.
I visited while in Florida on business. The casino anchors a huge entertainment complex with 20 or more restaurants, nightclubs, live theater and concert venue. I thought it was clean and staff was friendly. I ate at two restaurants inside the casino and the food was outstanding (and comped). I only play blackjack and found the rules pretty standard. Dealer hits soft 17, double anything, double after split (except aces), can resplit anything but aces. Table limits start at $10. The $10 tables use continuous shuffle machines, $15 and up use an 8 deck shoe. Be aware that the outdoor blackjack tables only pay 6/5 on blackjacks and you cannot get rated and earn comps outside. I found them to be pretty good with food comps and I didn't ask for anything more. I never play machines so have nothing to offer in that area, but I didn't hear much cheering coming out from the machine areas. I was there on a Tuesday and Wednesday and found the crowds very manageable but was told that weekends are packed and a little crazy. I've played all over the country and this is now my favorite place.
I live very close by and visit often. Being a players club member, I have accumulatsd enough points to get 50 dollars in free play a week. If you are using free play, cash out every time you win. Even if its 2 cents. U must keep your free poT amount in the machine. But if I put 20 dollars in free play in the. 1 cent machines. Ill have about 20 tickets. Some worth 3 cents and some for 5 10 dollars. Add those tickets up and cash out. The video games that offer bonus spins is where u can rake in money. I also like the hot shot progressives. Especially near the stAte. I've won from $200 to hitting a jackpot of 3 grand. The tables are decent depending on the day. I've won 10 straight hands sometimes and also have the days where the dealer pulls 21 3 out of 4 hands. You can definitely get trapped among the thousands of machines there. The hotel is outstanding as well as the pool and beach club. The restaurants are good, but overpriced. I tend to have more "luck" on mon-thursday. Late morning early afternoon.
