I have been going to this casino for the last 13,almost 14 years and I have only won ONE jackpot on the slot machines, no joke. The machines are so tight it would be easier to squeeze a pumpkin out of a olive. The employees are very rude, they laugh at the players, and do absolutely nothing. Everytime I go there they either sit and watch you like you are a criminal waiting to rob the place (which THEY are doing to their customers), or they walk around, in circles, bothering people. Since they are SO wonderful on paying the jackpots (not)...they need to get rid of most of their staff as no one wins, why have all the workers when NOTHING HAPPENS??? The promotions are ridiculous. Other casinos would laugh at the people that run this place, knowing they are doing the exact opposite for their customers. It's apparent to me these people aren't competent enough to realize that in order to run a decent casino, the customers need to be happy. Usually that means promotions, offers, NOT having to go the Gold Club to ASK for a room. There are no more bus tours...but that is ok. The travelers that come and spend money can and do go somewhere else, where they are appreciated and actually come home with some money, or at the very least break even. It's a shame I live in the area, I bang my head everytime I go to this place, knowing I will most likely lose. But with being the optimist that I am I always hope for a better day. After tonight though, that was the last straw. Do NOT go to Oneida, I will never recommend anyone else go to this joke of a "gaming" establishment.

Oneida is out for Oneida. They do not care for the customer at all. You should never go to the casino expecting to win, but it's not even fun here. They shut down a popular bank of machines because they claimed people were "cheating". It's a slot machine, how do you cheat?! Customer service is horrible, food sucks, and its way too crowded. I would rather go to any other casino, not Oneida owned.É

Made the mistake of taking a detour after an event and lost $300 in the slots without even getting any play, and noticed no one else was winning anything either. All of a sudden around dinner time, the machines lit up a little bit and I saw some people actually hitting a little bit: didn't know their investments, but didn't see anything over $800 and NO JACKPOTS ANYWHERE despite videos being displayed of past jackpot winners with no date. Years ago?? I kept kidding myself about trying to get something back; after another $200, I had cashed out $110, but lost that as well. Again, others were not winning anything either. NO $1200 winners! Don't understand why the state has gotten so lax on this, and increase the fines for not paying the proper 80% payouts. This place has got to be less than 50%. The bars are a much better option. They generally pay back about 65%.

Went to try to get something to eat and no one was at the counter for at least five minutes with two people in front of me.

I WILL NEVER!!! BE BACK!!!

I have been going to Oneida for the last three months and all I do is lose. Then when I leave my machine a player betting minimum will play behind me and win. This is after I put anywhere from $300 to $500 in the machine. I think they see me come up and shut the machine down till I run out of money. They don't pay out anything. I went up 40 times in a row and broke even twice and one once. This was a few years ago, but not much has changed. Also I have put $2500 in a slot one night and the biggest hit I got was $60. How does that happen. I wouldn't waste your money.

I only play craps and I win more than I lose. In the past six months they hired and "trained" a lot of new dealers for the craps table. On some nights it was quite literally every single roll a controversy would break out because one or more of the dealers would mess up. Placing bets, paying bets, changing bets, all become such a frustrating experience many people just walk away. Management was told and the bottom line was "you don't have to play here, they need to learn somehow". So the idea of paying staff to learn their jobs on dummy tables with fake money is not a practice they use. Two different managers told me the dealers are given basic training but then the real training is on the live tables with real money. Both managers agreed they wouldn't let a new person making a lot of mistakes work on their cars or handle their investments. But both indicated it was fine with them that craps dealers can make numerous mistakes and it was okay with our money "somebody will catch it". Yeah. Right. The valets are great and the servers are great. Some of the craps dealers are great. But overall the lack of training when dealing with hundreds if not thousands of dollars riding on one roll of the dice doesn't make me ever want to go back.
