My visit made me so disgusted. Obviously, with a nice building, it is managed with absolutely no class at all. The slot machines have always been tight. The comps awarded are an absolute joke. You could end up spending your entire bank roll and they would laugh all the way to the bank. These people have yet to put in good working slot machines. I actually saw one machine with broken glass exposed, endangering the public. . In addition, many have non working keys and reels. You play every line and don't get a single payout. They constantly go to Closure M or Closure BM mode while playing. And the biggest point I wanted to make, absolutely no one is on the floor to assist you. Parx Casino is by far the worst casino I have ever visited. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, the title explains it all. Slots at Parx are not only in deplorable condition, they are incredibly tight. Since this hell hole opened its doors, I have not seen 1 jackpot won. Every time I visit this place, I come out on the losing end. Their contests and promotions are an absolute joke. I never win anything. It's only a ploy to get you in there and rob you of more of your hard earned money. The people that run this place ought to be ashamed of themselves. They are taking in so much money, yet, none of it, seems like it's being returned, as it should be. It's robbery at its worst.
Been going to Parx since it opened. It is about a half hour from my house. When I go, I take what I can afford to lose. Was a member of the players club and still only get $5 back and no food comp! So, after about 8 weeks of dropping $200-400 per week and I was still only getting $5, I finally asked to speak to someone. I asked how they determine the rewards. He couldn't answer. At least in AC they will tell you for every so many dollars you gamble it equals a point. It is fair and you can figure it out. All I could get them to tell me was that it was like baseball, the more often you are up at bat the lower your average is. WHAT? So finally after arguing, he said the reward payback is determined by the machines you play, length of time on machine, etc. Too subjective for me! I made him look up my play and he did give me $50 that night to play. I have been so disgusted by their reward system that I rarely, if ever, use my card.
I read the other comments, yeah it is smoky. I have no idea why the new casino doesn't have a better HVAC system. Some people are rude, but that is the nature of people, not the casino. It is my choice to go there, all that I ask is that I understand how they are grading my play and how I earn comps. Unfortunately, I have won more money (not big jackpots) when not using my card, so that is another reason not to use it.
Parx is getting rich, I would just like to see more than $5 once a week for my play. And valet at less than $15! Good luck players!
hi i have been coming here since a long time now and i have also been to atlantic city casinos...let me tell you the parx casino is the worst of them all...smoking hell...no proper ventilations..the moment we go home our clothes stink with the smoke even though we don't smoke...the slots are pathetic...i mean you never ever win and yes I read some other reviews and some one writes u put in $20 and expect a jackpot..its not like that...each time i play around $500 and i am a frequent visitor and i win nothing...the promotions are absurd...multiplier 4 and multiplier 3 is bull..they never give that promotion...its just a strategy to bring in people...anyways if this is going to be their approach then they will lose lots of business...anyways your slots are so tight that even if u give the promotions i can bet people wont win anything...and i dont play small....
This place is a terrible disappointment. It looks like they put a lot of money into it, but they just take peoples money and treat them like crap. The crowd is kind of creepy and the service is almost non existent. The worst part is that it is seemingly impossible to win anything. I have never played machines that are so tight. You can put $100 into a dollar slot and hit nothing more than 2 or 5 credits once or twice. The penny machines are almost as bad. Play 60 credits, maybe win 20 credits back every 5 spins. It's boring, insulting and extremely frustrating to play here. We will never go back. We tell everyone we know how bad that place is. The management couldn't be more thrilled that they are raking in incredible profits while devastating their community. I can picture them laughing at all the stupid patrons who fork over their money to them.
