I started playing at Yonkers casino as soon as they opened. Before that, I was an Atlantic city weekend warrior. What a mistake. I became a daily player at Yonkers and never hit anything to write home about. The comps given here are extremely poor; especially for a person who plays on a daily basis. The security tends to be abusive towards players. If there is a problem and you call on security, they just might ask YOU to leave. It's been a terrible 7 year experience. I had never experience any type of behavior from the staff at resorts world, Atlantic city, Vegas, Mississippi, Reno, Mohegan sun, or Foxwoods. I now attend Resorts world. I enjoy the atmosphere, the music and shows. Although their food and drinks are a bit costly for a casino, I prefer to be treated with respect and courtesy and have a peace of mind. I encourage all, that if they want better, professional service, do not look for it at Yonkers.

Stay far from this place if you value your money at all, you can't win here, take a ride to beautiful conn. Where even if you lose you at least had a better chance in a real casino. This place has filthy bathrooms, poor service by people with poor attitudes, even to valet your car is $10.00 , food sucks, rewards suck, atmosphere sucks . Watch your underwear here you'll lose that too if your not careful!

If you are a fan of electronic roulette machines, BEWARE AND PREPARE TO LOSE BIG. I never in my years of gaming ever heard of anyone having to play multiple hands of at least $70 to $200. to win at least $825., THAT'S NUTS !! and to add insult to injury if you continue playing after you win, the machine will HUNT YOUR MONEY DOWN UNTIL IT GET IT ALL!! but wait there is more, don't even dream of you starting with at least $40 to win $400. PIPE DREAM!! It's understood that the machine knows what you bet and it has a house edge, but C'MON THE BALL POPS UP AND OUT LIKE POPCORN. Finally, if it's at all possible DO NOT PLAY UNLESS YOU HAVE AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME WITH YOU. In short, DON'T DO IT MAN !!

SLOTS, DID SOMEONE SAY SLOTS, hee hee.., remember the science experiment when you put a frog in a jar and he can only hop up as high as the lid will let him. This is what you are dealing with at Empire City. Skepical OK, Just look around at how many machines you see with totals over $200. and take a look at how much the bonus rounds pay for people playing 1.50 to as much as 5.00 per spin. Finally, Hand Pays
OOPS!! no offense. Where are the hand pays? In a GOOD casino you should see at least two or three hand pays regularly. You are free to do what you want but don't say you have not been warned.

They should really change the name of this place to Clip Joint, Inc. I have never seen so many angry people in one place. If anyone keeps going there, they are the biggest losers. I hope Upstate New York casinos put them out of business.

Of course it's tough to win because you are playing a scratch off game. How many times must people be told that playing these machines (just like the ones in Monticello and Aqueduct) are actually scratch off lottery tickets. There are so many winners and that's it. These machines are not like the ones in AC or Pennsylvania. Those in AC and Penn are controlled by a random number generator in each single machine so the chance to one is greater. The machines in Yonkers, Monticello and Aqueduct have a payback percentage of 92%. If I were those losers, don't return.
