It was senior day. I'm glad I took my kids and not my parents, because it was the worse experience ever. spent $76 for buffet for 4 over age of 18. And no One, not even me, would go for seconds(is that intentional?) Either way, I wouldn't feed any senior that or charge them $20... any more than I would give them a can of Alpo. Then..kiosk systems were down over 3 hours-slots would not accept any printed vouchers.. and lines to turn in vouchers at cashier, were so long...people were getting hairy... Now... most elderly are lucky they can walk in the door- what poor planning. I will not be back. Your casino went to s#!+. Shame on you..you should treat the elders Better. :-(
I liked this casino. I am a bit fussy when it comes to lighting and cleanliness and this casino rated high in my book. Did not have as many new machines as I expected but had a good variety. I came home with a few bucks which always makes me happy. I saw people winning and it was very busy. We had the buffet, it was average but tasty. Desserts where delic. Recommend if you are in the area.
Not recommended place. Food is bad! Gaming area is so boring. The worst bars I ever see in a casino. If you live within the area go for a visit, but don't waste a vacation to see this place.
I've been attending the Soaring Eagle for many years. I love slots, that's my bad habit. There were times when you would atleast win, if I put the money back into the machine then that's my choice. That was the fun and entertaining part of it all. Now it's just take, take, take. If you play slots you won't play for long. Gone are the days of multi big jackpots. Gone are the days of players yelling because they won big. If you don't believe me then just come here...walk around and observe. You'll see the mindless masses putting donations into the slots. I will still come here however, I will only donate $40. Soaring Eagle is a beautiful casino in opinion, however they should bring back the fun of slot play. Just give a little back, and more people will come back with more money to play.
This is a casino and not a church. If you come here you are gonna smell like cigarette smoke, that's just how it goes. Just as church isn't meant for fun, these slots are not for fun anymore.
I'm a big fan of the Soaring Eagle. I don't always win but be sensible. No one always win. However, I've won several times and I always get playback money. I spend the day there many times. It's great. Fabulous atmosphere. Great comps. Best in Michigan. My friend Bob & I (Judy K) go there all the time.
