Went for the weekend with my son. Had a great time! My only suggestion is better air filters. Sometimes the smoke was too much to take. All of the employees (except for one hostess at the Diner) were very friendly and helpful. Look forward to heading there again.
I like soaring eagle and its beautiful however I went there in sept and it wasn't even fun. After driving 2 hrs each way I lost $600 and didn't get anything to play. Played the $1 and $5 slots and none would do anything or even give me anything to play. I don't know if they made machines more tight or what because most of the times before I would win but not that time, I was in an out in 45 minutes.very disappointed. It will be quite awhile before I go again there!
EVERY YEAR SINCE THE NEW SOARING EAGLE CASINO AND RESORT WAS BUILT, MY GIRLFRIEND AND I PLAN OUR TRIP TO THE CASINO. WE ALWAYS GO THE MONTH OF HER BDAY. WE ALWAYS STAY 2-3 DAYS. WE GET GREAT COMPS FOR OUR RMS. THIS PAST YR., WE EACH GOT 2 FREE NITES WHICH IS GREAT. THE HOTEL STAFF IS FRIENDLY. ABOUT 2 YRS AGO THEY DID A REMODEL AND TOOK THE MACHINES I LIKE TO PLAY AND PUT IN LEGENDS RESTAURANT AND PUT THE MACHINES IN ANOTHER PART OF THE CASINO, I USED TO HIT ONE OR TWO JACKPOTS WHEN THEY WERE WHERE LEGENDS IS NOW. NOW I MIGHT WALK AWAY FROM THE CASINO WITH MONEY TO GET ME HOME. IF I'M LUCKY. THEY HAVE TIGHTENED UP THE MACHINES. THE ONLY THING WE CANT UNDERSTAND. THERE ARE 3 PEOPLE THAT KEEP WINNING BIG BUCKS FOR DAYS EVEN MONTHS. AND IF MY CALCULATIONS ARE RIGHT THESE PEOPLE HAVE WON OVER 200,000. SO FOR THAT REASON MY GIRLFRIEND AND I HAVE TO DECIDE IF WE WANT TO GO BACK NEXT YR. THEY ALSO STOPPED SERVING BREAKFAST AT THE BUFFET. SO NOW IF YOU WANT BREAKFAST, GO EAT AT LEGENDS. THE FOOD IS OK, NOT TO PRICEY. AND IF YOU DONT GO AT LEAST EVERY 6 MONTHS,(JANUARY + JULY THEY TAKE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EARNED ON YOUR CARD). WHICH I'M HOPING THEY CHANGE IT BACK TO ONCE A YR.
Slots get a 5, but that is simply based on the Video Poker selection. 9/6 JoB all over the place. NSUD, BP, 10/6 DDB and more. There are also several excellent BJ games available.
Combine that with solid restaurants and a generous slot club and this place is a winner!
