Be a REAL winner Keep your money in your pocket Never again will I put my hard earned money up to sit in a dump. The thrill and excitement are gone. The machines are filthy, sticky, screens broken/messed up. Their card readers don't work, not that you would accrue points and EARN anything. Free Parking is all they have, uhm. But so does Parx, Harrah's, and the Golden Nugget! Wish they weren't such theieves and residents say improvements on our taxes, community events, etc. but enough, save ur time and money Ride a bike Go for a walk Walk right past the SugarHouse!

Hey guys good new I just won $5k on blackjack on sugar house. However, on my last bet they accused me of pulling back $100. Because I didn't do that I told them they needed to provide video proof. They responded by calling the cops on me. They told me I needed to pay them $100 or go to jail. I told them they are full of shit and I was smart enough to realize the cops were accusing me of violating civil law not criminal so I told them to go to hell. An hour later they said they reviewed the video and I was right I did not pull back $100. They still said they needed my id to file a report even though I did nothing wrong. In case you need any reason to never go there again I just wanted to let you know how they tried to bully me into paying them $100 I didn't owe. Sugar hood....

Sugar House has definitely went down hill. I am not sure if they think they should only cater to the high rollers but that did not work out so well for The Revel Casino. My wife and I have been going there for over 3 years and since the renovation you can't win anything. Let me explain. We are casual slot players. We will go with about $100 - $150 and our free plan (which by the way is becoming more scarce) and play for at least 3 - 4 hours. I used to tell everyone how great it was. I never go expecting to win but I at least want to play for a while. Over the last 8 - 9 months our play time has diminished to about an hour IF WE ARE LUCKY. We would go there for the food as well so they lost that business too. 3 weeks ago we went on a Saturday night and they had a secret VIP drawing for the high rollers. It was our last night there!!!! It's FREAKING FRUSTRATING to lose money while listening to them call out winning names on a drawing that EXCLUDES you. THAT told me they do NOT want or need casual gamblers anymore so we are taking our money to Harrahs. At least there you get room offers, food offers and yes FREE PLAY. My friend who IS a high roller also stopped going in April as he saw the same pattern. He now goes to Atlantic City and gets much more comps than Sugar House can ever offer.

NOW I HEAR THE PLACE IS EMPTY ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS. WAY TO GO SUGAR HOUSE. Way to join the ranks of the failed AC Casinos. Tightening the slots may make you more money in the short term, but like a gambler to a casino, YOU WILL LOSE IN THE LONG RUN!! Perhaps your executive staff making these decisions needs to call 1-800-GAMBLER!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I thought of giving "ZERO" STAR and yelp does not have that option. You can go and hang around in this place if you want to risk your life and property.
It's smoke all over the casino.I parked my car at the Lot 'A' and the car was vandalized. Guys i have uploaded the pics where i parked and you can see the "SUGAR HOUSE CASINO" sign at the background. I asked for the footage and the sugar house casino management does not have that and they are NOT ready to share or view it once . They said the surveillance camera does not cover the whole parking spaces.. What the goodness ??.They have 2 security guards for the whole parking lot and mostly you can see them greeting near by the front door, because they did not want to risk their life.
I have lost valuables and also my favorite sun-glass inside the car. I filed the police complaint in the Philadelphia Police 26th District. There were no securities and please spend some good time without risking your life. Try Valley Forge or go to Atlantic City if you want to have some good time.Sugar House Casino Management does not take any responsibility for my losses. I spoke with one of the security guard and they said they dint like the place however they need to do the job. They don't have Surveillance cameras and don't risk your life.

GAMES & Promotions :

Black Jack table games are the worst game there. None of the tables have hand shuffle. Most of them are CSM ( Continuous shuffling machine ) and the players there get drunk and lose all their money. Please go and watch before you play. Few tables has automatic shuffler, however the dealer will not deal all the cards from the shoe until it becomes empty. They will reshuffle even if there is a DECK of cards left in the shoe. Trust me
if you are an experienced player you would like to be in the game until all the cards are dealt even for a 8 deck game.

Promotions are really bad and one of the thing if you lose $1000 a day in Slots or Table games , you will get $50 Match Play or $50 slot Play.

Most of the Slots will not work even if you hit the SPIN Button more than once. They don't have good pay outs for the Video Poker as well.

Please be safe and hang out in the safe places instead of risking your life in the SUGAR HOUSE casino.
If you Lose money, thats Ok, If You lose Life ?????

Finally,
"Philly Loves a Winner"
"Sugar House Casino Hates a Winner "

Two years ago I played blackjack at Sugar House on a regular basis. Crowded then, many tables, typically $25 minimum even on weekdays and early mornings (mostly 8-deck shoe game). $100 minimum blackjack tables in high roller pit with 6-deck shoe (better for player). I was surprised to return today to find only 3 blackjack tables open, two $15 minimum, one $25 minimum. All hand shuffle 8-deck shoes. Only the two $15 minimum tables were full. Took a glance in the former high roller pit. BJ gone. Mostly Paigow and other Asian games. Crowded. Sat down at the $25 table with only two other players, I played two hands, mostly $25 or $50 a hand. After 15 minutes I was up $500 on a $500 buyin, so left a winner. I had won far ahead of expected value in that short amount of time. A quick walk around saw a few poker games, but no other blackjack tables! There were maybe four other BJ tables closed in the same pit as the three open games. Good rules, especially surrender option which is offered at all PA casinos. Cashier moved to the far end of the casino to make you walk very far from either main exit. Inconvenient. Did not see a cocktail waitress while I was there. Have never had a food comp, even two years ago when I played there frequently and had my play rated.
