I agree with all the negative feedback on payouts. We have spent 8 grand in the last 9 months and probably won $2,500 the whole time. I don't think they are paying out what they supposed to. HURRY UP TEXAS OPEN A CASINO 90% OF CHOCTAWS BUSiNESS IS FROM TEXAS
When I first started going to Choctaw Durant when the first new section was opened years ago you had a fair chance of winning. We all noticed from the time they started the new casino & hotel things got progressively worse and that has not stopped. You can run $100 through a $ machine on 3 or on 1 and never get a spin and if you do it's something crappy that does not pay anything.
Before the new casino you could walk by the cages and see hand pay sheets waiting for winners to pick up the jackpot money they won. Now walk by and you hardly ever see any hand pay sheets. It's a real shame because I used to have fun there but now have no desire to go back.
My wife and me have gone to Choctaw since 2003 so we have seen it grow from the original bingo casino to the big new casino it is today. We have never had a bad experience there, and always have a good time, even when we don't win. The employees are always friendly, the food very good, and it is fairly easy to navigate without difficulty. We even met TJ Cloutier there.
So, in the first three months of this year, I was able to win over $15,000 and a couple of years back, I brought in about $10,000 in the high limits areas of the casinos. Sounds great, but oh how things have changed since March 2010!
You can't win ANYTHING ANYMORE NO MATTER WHAT MACHINE YOU PLAY! I suspect they blame it all on the recession/depression or whatever you wanna call what our country's going through, but with thousands of people walking in and out of their doors on a daily basis, there's no excuse for taking people's money like that. What's even worse, you can even get an ounce of fun anymore. You might as well take your money and throw it on the floor and walk right back out the door because it's nearly impossible unless you can afford the $25 slot machines. And of course if you can afford that, nothing matters to you anyway.
My advice: stay far, far away from Choctaw. That is if your life savings, pension, and Social Security payments are important to you!
