I paid almost $400 dollars for 1 night at the Choctaw Inn. The television in the room was only like 27 inches, the room was not clean(trash from previous guest),no shower curtain, only sheets on the bed no blankets or comforter. I was extremely disappointed for 400 bucks. And when i expressed my displeasure to the manager, i was told that i should have stayed in the main hotel.
I have been a weekly regular at Choctaw resort,Durant for the last 12 yrs, so I have noticed how the slots payout has changed during that time. They are definately paying out less. They will let a few players win on the larger denominations, and a few run ups without jackpots, but bells ring for shorter durations. What's odd is there are more customers than ever before. I guess we are paying for the new construction. I'm looking for a different pass time. Not fun anymore.
Firstly, the machines were ridiculously tight. Even if you won a bonus, you were lucky to get $10-15. Secondly, there were a whole group of .25 machines. Not thinking any differently, I sat in front of, what I thought, was another .25 machine. One spin... and $75 GONE. I know I should have looked, but seriously? As tight as the machines were, I couldn't afford to lose $75 in one machine. Overall, very unsatisfied by everything but the food.
slots pays better in high stakes. they seem to pay out mostly 3 times bet. the smaller slots dont pay jackpots when high stakes are paying. I guess money from smaller bets pay for big jackpots?
First, I have to say, I used to love this place. You could actually win on the slots, get hand payouts, even jackpots. Now, I can't play 2 hours on a 200-300 BR. The customer service is still good. The food is mediocre. The gaming floor is immaculate. The .50 a hand fee for table games takes any player advantage away. I won't go back, better to save the money for Las Vegas.
