Was there for Labor Day. The kiosks weren't working properly. The lines for the kiosks were crazy long and it didn't seem like anyone was doing anything to fix the problem. Horrible experience.
They don’t check machines and when you have a problem your lucky if you can get someone under 20 min. Today I went to Yonkers to get my free play I had my nieces and sisters cards I usually take and play so they don’t lose points and when they do go they can get something, I went to check if they had any promotions and when I turned around there was 2 coos then the 2 turned into 6 all for me checking cards meanwhile everyone takes a bunch and r3deams vouchers just last week a women in front of me had 6 cards and redeemed allot in vouchers the woman before me had 3 cards . Yonkers is a joke 6 cops for looking at cards on a machine that does not print vouchers but when there is a problem no one is around. Don’t waste your time travel to a real casino where they know how to treat people
Overall Empire City Casino (Racino), has a wide variety of slot machines (they are called video lottery terminals in New York State). Valet staff is very friendly and cars are usually retrieved in a timely manner even on busy nights. Customer service is below average in comparison to other casinos I've been too. Cage staff & Promotions booth personnel could be friendlier. If it's a busy night and you have a slot machine issue i.e. defect or ticket stuck in machine you could be waiting for some time even after pressing the service button. The player's club lines sometimes can be long, and they don't always have a sufficient amount of personnel to handle the amount of customers in a timely fashion. Promotional kiosks are often without paper or defective. Staff generally does a good job at keeping the place clean from what I've seen. Limited food selection (3 restaurants & food court). Avoid the food court, it is mostly low quality food ranging from fast food - pizza, fried chicken & fries, Chinese, etc.
