Have played extensively in every casino within 200 miles of Meadowlands. I am a high limit player and have looked for years, because of the amount I gamble, at all casinos for the best "chance" of winning.
In spite of each casino's claims to "be the best", without doubt the best chance of escaping a casino after playing slots with some money is the Meadowlands. At least there one can, if not winning net dollars, experience "play". And as slot players know, "play" is what allows one to have a chance at a jackpot. Hands down the best casino within hundreds of miles!
I spent the most horrible, aggravating day today at the Meadows Casino, March 11, 2014. The computers were down - I couldn't retrieve my points and free play: tickets wouldn't work in machines and thinking it was just a bad ticket, I put more money in the machine, planning to cash in my ticket at the cashier later and then this second ticket would not work either; waited half an hour to be hand paid because the computer system went down completely. The lines at the cashiers were soo long and I had to wait again. The entire experience was terrible. The PA system kept telling us that the casino techs were diligently working on the problem - ha! The Meadows system must have been put together by the same people that were hired to do the Obamacare website - totally useless and aggravating. This computer problem has happened at least two times in the past. How frustrating.
This casino is getting worse than ever. Recieved a flier in mail stating free play of $200 for month of july. But when entering casino was told this is broken up in 4wks 50 weekly , cs person inform i had 20 dollars because i miss 4th of july extra 30 bucks so it was deleted . Told her this is bait and switch and her reply was oh well. So just for FYI.. beware of the BS.. More of Pennsylvania wannabe Casino's
I just watched the news and saw where The Meadows Casino was down 35% in Febuary. I'm sure they are blaming it on the economy..But the truth is 'THEIR MACHINES NEVER HAVE ANY JACKPOTS"! This comment isn't coming from someone who spends a couple of hours and goes home. This comment is coming from someone who will play the slots for 18-20 hours at a time.I'm not just saying that I'm not 'hitting'. No one is hitting. I play $5.00 machines. I've put in $160 in a machine and NEVER GOT ONE HIT !I play $1.00 machines and never get enough to even play on..same goes for Penny slots. As you can see I'm all over the floor that's why I can truly say that the machines never hit Jackpots and they never even give a person enough to play on. Last year I had $9000 in Jackpots. A lot you might think but not for someone who goes 3 times a week and spends between 40-60 hours in that week. The place is sooo packed that there are no parking spaces but they are so tight that they can't pay out any money !The PLAYERS CLUB is a Joke ! It's a smoke filled room full of dirty ash trays and ashes and empty drinks everywhere. Once you go in there no one ones to sit by you because you smell so bad from the smoking. TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO ! YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING ARE NEXT TO ZERO! You might as well throw your money out your car window. PS I've been going there for 14 years and I'm not going back again. By the way..I spend at least $1000 every time I go. UNBELIEVABLE !
