The players Card is a joke! Low rewards for points! Buffet generic! We LIKED the restaurant, UNTIL I tasted the lobster, I told my wife and management that both tails, tasted like they were washed in dishwashing detergent!? WTH? The worse I have had ever was at Outback, small, rubbery, but still tasted like lobster! NOT THIS! I had to beg managers (2 Levels), to notcharge my dinner, as our visit was ruined this time, and hoped to not get sick? Manager said the “most I can do is 10% off!” Was she serious? That made me even more upset and I had to beg, grovel, and tell a 2nd level manager (which has NEVER occurred in my life at ANY restaurant), and they were not about to give me more than 50% off? My wife & I hardly ever complain, but this time was warranted and they made me in my opinion, INTENTIONALLY look and feel like I was stealing my egregious tasting dinner which I do not recall any other incident near this upsetting ever in a restaurant, and we left upset! She did not seem to care? I left our player cards and told her we would never need them again, because not only were we finished eating there, but we WERE, and still ARE, humiliated enough to and our Anniversary visit was ruined SO badly that we will not frequent Gun Lake Casino EVER EVER AGAIN! We learned if a patron has a bad or in this case, terrible experience dining, they just listen like you are just a complainer and will not care to make things right for you? A QUALITY establishment would apologize with sincerity, and in a worse case scenario which occurred here with this lobster that literally tasted like it had been dropped on the floor and placed into soapy water to so called “clean it”, (and I could not be more sincere?), and furthermore, we have no doubt the meal would be fully refunded without having to beg to have that done! Wish we could have reviewed with “0’s”!

They might as well not have a player's club! Gold or Black card means nothing at Gun Lake. I have had black card status at Firekeepers, Four Winds, and Blue Chip. Have received free hotel stays in beautiful suites, tons of gift shop comps, jewelry, invitations to parties, outings, dinners, fashion shows, concerts, lots of free play. Gun Lake tracks your play and whether you are black card or not, if you don't drop big $$$$ they cut food comps and free play! I am currently a black card holder there -my food comps for this month just got cut to 2 times at $10 and my free play is $25/week. I complained to my host she explained that this is based on my play two months ago (I was on vacation). What a joke. Black card status gives you "VIP parking". That's a joke too. The VIP spots are usually full and they are only a few steps closer than other spots in front of the building. The drinks are lousy (CHEAP alcohol) and the food is TERRIBLE no matter which restaurant you choose. Overall, Gun Lake is the worst casino I have ever been to. Only good thing there is their employees - hard workers and very nice.
