Maryland Live recently got real table games. The minimums are ridiculously high. Seriously, a craps table with a $100 minimum. Out on the regular floor, the lowest minimum I saw was $25. I had to laugh when I saw the high limit room. I thought the high limits were out with the regular tables.
They have a bizarre combination of slots. The casino is laid out poorly. The parking garage is a nightmare. And they need better training in the food service department.
E table games? Electronic slots? Eh...But the atmosphere made me feel like I was in a casino. Love gaming, hate driving, so will be going back often, especially now that the real table games are open. I am winning free slot cash now with the Live!Insider promo, but I hope they offer table credit soon instead. Drinks were not cheap, that's for sure.
I read the others and believe me they are all true. The service is lousy, and you can be there for 3 or 4 hours and not see a beverage server. We don't need to talk about low payout percentage, I have played for years at many places and this one is the pits. There payouts is next to nothing. I have been more times than I can tell you and 98% of the times I came home broke. The security managers there need an attitude adjustment.
My wife and I visited this casino for the third time on April 20 2013. They had recently added table games and I was interested in playing. We arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday. The place had a large number of table games and the open table were mainly busy. The game rules were ok - not great and not horrible. However the minimum bets were the highest I have ever seen outside of a high limit room. Most Blackjack tables were $50.00 with a few $25.00 tables. The Craps tables were all $50.00. Roulette was also $50.00!!!!
Video Poker games were at best 7/5 with some many games 6/5. Slots were all cold.
you have fun watching others hit it big...but not you ....seen people hit for big pots...but i never have...and a sinking feeling that i never will...good luck doesn't seem to matter...machines are crazy tight
