As smokers my wife and I enjoy the old style of being able to smoke and gamble. This last fall my mom was visiting and we thought a night at Mount Airy would be fun. She paid for the buffet and then the next day received a call that her card was used in a casino in Missouri. Two weeks ago my wife's Mom and Dad were out and again we thought it would be fun to go to Mount Airy. They ate at the restaurant two spots down from the buffet and yes, the next day got a call that their card was used at a Pizza Hut in Stroudsburg. I have called and left msg at the casino with no response. They will not let me talk to any managers as they say that is not allowed. Beware, the cops are my next call.
We stayed for 2 nights while the hotel room was nice we did find a bug in the bathroom. Brought it to the attention of the desk clerk and she didn't care.She said it was a outside bug,but we were on the 6th floor no windows open.Slots were horrible. Smoke horrible.We drove over to the Sands won slots there. We probabaly won't go back. Was great when they opened,but now it seems like they don't care. I should have listened to all the others reviews.
First off this is my first visit from may. I give my drivers license for player card and they have my middle name as my first name, my last name is my middle initial, and my first name as my last name... wow! The slots are very tight. Almost afraid to put money in a machine. I like that the machines are organized though. The atmosphere is so laid back, and no Asians that I saw. In the end I did walk out ahead. I have some free play coming so I'll try my luck with that.
My friend and I both put 400 dollars each into one of the Premier Slot games and hit absolutely nothing at all, not even one bonus game. That to me is just robbery. Not to mention I only get 5 dollars free play and I come here weekly and dump at least 200 in this place and now i am done coming here and I will tell many people that I do not recommend this place, just go to Sands.
I would not recommend this place for anyone who likes to play slot machines because you will lose!
I come to Mt Airy weekly and play a lot of money and I don't get much free play in return. Also it's terrible that they got rid of the on U Spin game on the floor. Cocktail servers never come around when you need a drink, machines suck you dry, and need slightly better odds on these machines that pay like 10 percent back. Until they fix these problems, I am going to other casinos and telling my friends of how bad this casino had become.
