Have been going for 3 years. They used to pay out real jackpots. Since April 2012 and they opened Gilley's and started booking higher dollar talent, they stopped paying out. Slots are past bad. The jackpot average is about 500.00 so when you see that on your slot. GET OUT. All denominations have been reprogrammed. I have played every denomination and do know when the machines changed. They obviously decided they would not let slots pay out as they now have to pay for Gilley's, which is a wash out anyway, never more than 15 people in there, don't know what they pay Mickey for his name, but he is getting the payouts now. Higher dollar Talent, Gilley's equal no more payouts for the casino guests... Food is average overpriced and drinks are not worth the effort. Staff is great of course they stand around a ot now, as little to no payouts
I have gambled more than 20K no comp yet, only a small discount on hotel room and a couple of bucks off buffet. I stopped giving card to table games (pit boss), why let them track you if you don't get anything for it?? Worst odds in entire country, I gambled from Oregon to New England and everything in between.
Choctaw casino in the past had a nice 55 club, ladies night, and mens night. The perks for these promotions have long since past. The 55 Club on Thursdays is a complete joke. No need for a person 55 or over to play on that day. The slot payouts are the worst of any casino I have ever played.
I have been there 30 times (I only live 45 min away) rarely do I break even. I play slots, 3card poker, roulette. The buffet is ok, the only comp I have received is a discount on it. I won't pay $8 a drink. Much better odds at LA. or anywhere else. I have gambled from west coast to east coast and Choctaw is the worst odds.
I've been to Choctaw 11 times now and have never walked out of the Casino a winner, the most I ever won on a machine there is about $95.00 and I play Max Bet 80% of the time, save your cash for Shreveport/Bossier City, no they aren't paying out as well as they did back in the good ole days but I would say you have a 10 times better shot at winning there and get free drinks!
I haven't stayed at the Choctaw hotel so no comment on that.
The drinks at Choctaw are a joke $4.00-$6.00 for beer and $5.00 to $8.00 for mixed drinks.
The buffet seemed good at first opening but now it seems a bit cheesy and almost scary sometimes!
Comps from player points are almost non existent !!
BOTTOM LINE PEOPLE IF YOU LIKE WINNING, DON'T VISIT CHOCTAW CASINOS !!!!
