I don't understand all the reviews of people going several times a month or even a week and complaining they never win. Why keep going? I expect to loose, it's a casino. But if I can't get a little play the it's really no fun. I have had a few times when I just had to guit because of no pay back. But here lately I've had $250 last hours and could have left ahead. Complaints: charging .50 every hand of black jack (10 hands cost you $5.00 to play!) so no table games for me. Players club free play is skimpy and seems to be stuck on the same amount no mater how much I spend! But if you go 25 times and never win why keep going?
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Slots are sooooooo bad, u can go broke F A S T!!!!!!!!
I go weekly live about 30 miles away, and take only $20. And always loose it and I'm a huge tightwad!!!!!!!!!!
A person can never win nothing there but give them all your money!!!!!!!!!!
They use to have a bus called TAPS. That would take seniors for free from Sherman/Denison, no bus service no more.
All the reviews are 100%. TRUE!!!
The buffet is a bargain, but it's the same old food day in day out! And not great.
I truly believe these slots are 100% F I X E D!!!!!!! You can tell when you hear the bells and whistles going off for only a very short time, and I have seen a few winning at that time, not much, but winning some, and I get on at that time and still have to search for a machine to let me play without robbing me completely for a tiny bit of time!!!:((((((
Been to Choctaw 3 times in the past year always ended up robbed. The slots go nuts and ring when you win 70 cents as if they are trying to make you feel like a big winner. Mostly stick with roulette yet never came out ahead.. mediocre casino, i wouldnt go if they didnt have the free soda. Not too impressed.
I'll make short, they charge 50 cents per hand for table games. For those of you who don't gamble, understand that this kills your odds. Table game odds already favor the house charging per hand is just rubbing salt in t he wound.
I've been going to this casino since I turned twenty-one and it was just a trailer in the middle of nothing (14 years ago). My husband and I went over the 4th of July weekend and my license was lost. I contacted the powers that be and after first being told I had to mail a self addressed, stamped envelope, I was then told my the "head" of lost and found, Craig Miller, that he would mail my license to me. I told him it was very important that my license get to me in a timely manner because I was traveling in a week and HAD to have my license. He assured me he would mail it.
A week later, I called to check the status and this Miller yahoo said he forgot to mail it. I told him I would have to drive to the casino (two hours) and get it. He said it would be at the security desk to the left of the check-in desk.
I drive two hours and guess what. It was nowhere to be found. I waited two more hours for someone to figure out what was going on. No one ever found it. The supervisor was no help. The head of security was no help. I was offered no recompense for driving four total hours.
Choctaw's machines don't pay out. Ever. Their hotel rooms smell musty like mildew. There's always some sort of trash in their "luxury" pool. They're money hungry and have the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and go to Winstar. It's bigger, more favorable, and the rooms don't stink.
A week later and I still don't have my license thanks to Mr. Miller and his fine job.
