I do not recommend this little casino. Stay away, the worst payouts I have ever seen and I been to a lot of casinos. They have Horrible hotel rooms also. Everything was broke in the room. Slots all I can say is wow lol, I guess they don't like to pay people here. They just take your money really quick unless you own a farm and have thousands to spent stay away from these slots. I know casinos always win but this place is ridiculous, most casinos allow people to have fun and have paybacks but not this casino. Overall stay away from Spirit Lake casino unless you want to donate to them.
I am a regular player at this casino because I live in the town of DL. I have enjoyed coming here to play. But the last few months the slots have been very tight. I know people don't always win in a casino but it has been really bad lately. No playbacks, some slots have bonus rounds and even those do not pay very much. I suggest lossen a few slots and players will return to gamble more. Employees should be professional and friendly and not stand around and talk about players. They really need new slot machines very old slots here. I lost so much money here but I don't mind it because some days I would have good days so I would return to play. Because of the atmosphere of the casino and how the slots have been so tight, I will not return here this winter. Also they have drawings every month and as much as play I never won once not one promotion yet some people win ever month. I have been noticing the same people win drawings and on slots also. I sure wish I was one of them. I wonder if my players club card isn't working lol. Overall tough place to win and hopefully they will have updates soon and better promotions until then I will not return during the winter. Maybe next summer this casino will be better with new slots.
Same people win their promotional drawings EVERY month. Also heard they control machines and only let certain people win. Also heard this casino is in the black so majority of the time slot players will lose. They need a update, new employees, and STOP CHEATING PEOPLE. Most of the time people will be back to spent money if they let people actually gamble instead of choosing who wins. This place is going under fast. Like I said let people actually gamble and win and they will be back to spent money. Instead of chasing everyone away by taking their money quick they leave and never return. I'm done with this place and I am a gambler so they lost out on money from me. Also don't just choose friends and relatives of employees to win promotions people are catching on.
This place does not even treat their regular customers right. The state should allow anyone to open a casino. Let's see how long these Indian run casinos would last then. This casino and ALL other casinos have the ability to control the slot machines from the back room. It is no wonder why you can never win. The best thing to do is just do not go back. Let them figure out where they are going to get the money to pay the bills. Show the casino that YOU can control the slot machines even better than they can. NOTHING going in to the slot machines = NOTHING coming out. They have ruined this business so bad by screwing over regular customers. I know ALOT of people that were regular customers here that will never go back. Simply because you can NEVER win anything. Yes, I know it is supposed to be gambling but, COME ON! The slot machines operate on a Linux operating system which is controlled by a central computer in the back room. They can change the payout on one or all of the slot machines in a matter of seconds with the click of a mouse. NEVER have I ever saw ANY business treat their regular customers like pure CRAP. And you think people are going to continue to return ? WAKE UP ! It is apparent that people are getting tired of this place. The people working in check cashing are sitting playing games and reading books because they have no customers to wait on. They used to be so busy in the check cashing area that they always had a line of people. And in the so called " High Stakes Room" it is so quiet that you could hear a sparrow fart. Most of the employees are great people here. It is the management that is in need of a major overhaul. Until that happens , I am never going back here. All it is here is a bunch of thieves preying on senior citizens and ripping off their money. Consider what I have stated in this review before you ever visit this casino or any other casino in the United States. They have had the technology to control the slot machines from the back room since 2006 and are not bashful about doing so. There you have all been schooled ! Use your education wisely !
