Visisted last week for the 2nd and last time. Spent the night and found things are not quite right here. People sleeping in 3 chairs at the slot machines (workers working around them), people sleeping all over the fireplace loung area (all night), dirty carpets, scary parking, machines were dirty, very little service, charge too exorbitant fees to cash a check, one person for the non-diamond members, 3 for them, poor customer service don't know how you redeem comps (3 different people). Ive been to many different casino's and several Harrahs - first time I ever saw people sleeping at the slot machines in the lounge, and on the stairs. They have a security guard at the hotel entrance but they never ever asked for an ID or to see the hotel room key - anybody and everybody can walk up. The food is definitely nothing to right home about. We will never be going back and in this may have just changed my mind about gambling. When you allow people to use your facility like a drunken sleepover you will lose customers quickly. In fact the security guard at the hotel entrance was the only one I ever saw.

My husband and I have been patronizing Harrah's Cherokee since they opened 15 years ago. I agree that there aren't as many winners as in the past, but I DON'T agree on this writer's post. Sometimes players just want to rest their eyes, and 3 people seemingly sleeping in the casino or lounge chairs don't mean squat in my opinion.

What does the poster mean – One worker for Diamond AND THREE FOR THEM??? - EXCUSE ME, but THEM shouldn’t mean that WE are considered a minority in the poster’s eyes. NO ONE is inferior to anyone else, and I don’t care who that poster thinks he or she is. We all have the same rights playing at the casino, and I don’t care how much money anyone spends !!!

As far as the poster’s comments about “the workers" on the casino floor, they are just doing their jobs; they aren't supposed to bother players whether they look like they're sleeping or resting their eyes; they only ask if some of the trash in the area between the slot machines are that particular player’s trash.

Also in response to the writer’s posting I say "SO WHAT" if people are in the lounge areas. Does this mean that the poster actually stayed up all night to see who was in the seats in the lounge. Shame on the poster if he/she either paid for a room or got a comped room, and decided to watch all night who was sleeping on the lounge chairs. That’s nuts !!!!

Machines and/or carpets ARE NOT dirty, nor is there scary parking at this facility. There are two (2) parking facilities to choose from – hotel and/or casino – or you can have valet parking, so I don’t know where this poster is getting info from. Parking lots at this facility are SAFE and SECURE.

As far as sleeping on the stairs – DO NOT believe this poster. NO ONE sleeps on the stairs because there is plenty of security in Harrah’s Cherokee, and they wouldn’t allow this. Besides – the security force ALWAYS checks for hotel guests room keys after 10:00 p.m. and NO ONE is allowed access to any of the hotel floors.

If this poster was supposedly a Diamond Card holder, then this poster should know how to redeem comps. I say SHAME ON THE POSTER.

The only thing that I agree with the poster on is that the food is way overpriced, but the poster still has other options available --- leave the casino and patronize one of the local restaurants in the area just like my husband and I do if we decide to leave to eat somewhere else.

You misunderstood what the poster said. They said that there was 1 cashier for the non-diamond members and 3 for the diamond/ 7 star members. I completely agree with the rest of your post though. What ticks me off even more than that is when the 1 cashier for the non-diamond members makes you wait while they take care of the diamond/7 star members as well. I waited in line for 30 minutes one time while this happened and when it was finally my turn, a diamond member got in line for 30 seconds and she tried to call him over before me. I cut right in front of him as he was walking to the window and told her that he had 3 cashiers to take care of him and that she was not going to take him before she took me. I had to laugh because he was still in the line when she finished with me and when she tried to call him over again, the person who had been behind me for 30 minutes jumped right in front of him too!
