I find it discouraging that they opt to close a 20x42 sq foot of space ( the poker room) to move in high steaks table games. They have more floor space for handing out free gifts than this room occupies. The poker room represents friends and acquaintances playing poker. The original gambling activity which is now frowned upon. It doesn't produce enough revenue per square foot. A casino of this size and no poker room!!? Embarrassing for this area. We rent RV space, eat at restaurant, play slots and go to concerts because of the poker. I am embarrassed that ypur CEO does not comprehend the beginning of gambling...on which this whole casino started. So sad to see it go. I will not return to your casino and will advise friends to stay away.
I tend to rate a casino by it's player's club, so this one is better than most. It used to be better - but it seems all player's clubs have lowered their incentives and Hinckley seems to have lowered their's the least. Lots of slots and variety. The buffet is hit or miss, some days great and other days not so much. In the Wisconsin/Minnesota area - this is my preferred casino, even though it's a 2 hour drive and most of the others are 30-60 minutes away.
