Amusement factor=0. You never go to a casino to win, but you should at least be able to play a little while! Slots were extremely tight, with almost no game time to make the experience enjoyable. Food was average. We had a much better time in Lake Charles where we were able to play a few hours. Gave Coushatta 2 chances during our trip, never again.

The casino no longer offers the entertainment value it had until early 2013. They have dramatically reduced the slot payouts. Even the employees will admit that. This is a big and crowded casino but you will likely see only 1-2 handpays for jackpots in a given day.
The cocktail service is so bad in parts of the casino that it completely ruins the fun of the evening.
I remember days of fun, jackpots, nice players club monthly gifts and easy access to cash checking. The casino now makes it difficult to cash a check. Gone are the cards that allowed for easy access to cash. I am finished with Coushatta. I would recommend you save your money for another casino elsewhere
