Haven't been here in a few years. Went today and wanted to use the Valet.
Before you get out and go right into the casino 50 feet away..
Now you got to walk back to the casino from the garage.
I'm handicapped and I wasn't about to walk any farther than I have to..
So I just left and went to Victoria and rivers got the ball's to charge 10 bucks with a handicap plackard..
So bite me rivers
Arguably the worst casino in the Midwest. I'm a black card holder(highest rank) and after losing thousands on various games you'd think I'd get something, anything for my patronage. But nothing. $100 free play maybe? Nah. Table games are beyond rigged for the house. In no fair game can you lose as consistently as I have. It's mathematically impossible unless it's rigged. Management couldn't care less about their customers. Extremely bad business model. Dealers are very nice but if the players don't win, no tips. I feel bad for them. I understand the losing vs winning thing but when you NEVER win anything how can you expect good customer experiences? If I could give zeros I would. Just a terrible place to gamble & have fun. You can sense the poor employee attitude and I don't blame them. I'll likely never return. This is a worse scam than the Illinois government.
This casino is poorly designed and claustrophobic. You can come here at 6AM when there are hardly any people and strangely it still feels crowded. The atmosphere here is dreadful. Everyone looks grim bordering on hostility. The sound system plays the customary pop and rock music to try and add a fun vibe. A funeral dirge would be more appropriate for these sad faces. Almost every other casino that I have ever been to gets my adrenaline going when I first walk in. Optimism abounds, you feel pumped up that you might win some money. When you walk in here you feel like you're a rat in a dark maze with no hope of scoring any cheese. It's so gloomy in here you want to get the hell out of here quickly. That's because when you put money in the machines you get absolutely zero payback. At least other casinos give you enough small wins to keep you going. The Des Plaines river is nearby. Just throw your money in there, make a wish and perhaps good fortune will come your way in the future. You have zero chance on their slots believe me. If you're into video poker they have very few of those. I vowed never to lose my money here 5 years ago and I have kept my promise. Their buffet is very good though.
no vip comps, the place is packed though. they're printing money from all the foreign and out of towners coming in and losing their money. Slots are the worst in the midwest. Customer service doesn't care and gives no comps. Food is very good. But can you justify a $40 buffet after you lose $1000 in an hour and they comp you $5 for a soft drink ?
