Absolutely the worst casino experience I have ever had! Felt like I was robbed by the time I left. Lost hundreds in a short time with hardly ever getting any bonuses, few and far between. This casino really is a total joke for anyone who is out to have a good time. Server Based Gaming at its finest with rude customer service to boot. I have never been treated so poorly in a casino and I have been to many. Overall just a terrible tight casino with lots of unhappy people.

The people seemed friendly enough, but everything was tight, tight, tight. Tables, slots (fun for a bit) but after an hour, we were out of money.
That's never happened in other casinos we've been to. That tells us, this casino pretty much stinks! Vacation week end, turned into vacation 8 hours. It stinks! Alot of drunks there on a friday night too. Not alot of people, just those there were smashed. A very smoky joint as well. Save your money.

I went there on a Tues night, it was a ghost town. The machines were so tight, when I lit a cig, put in a $20.00 the $20 was gone before my cig was done (takes about 5 mins for a cig) That place is a joke! I knew right then and there this casino is NOT regulated AT all! I was with 5 friends, we all tried different machines, all were the same. I guess on the reservation, they're NOT state regulated and can turn em off on on as they please? Well, lemme tel ya, they're ALL OFF! Machines are so tight there, you may as well stay home and play fake slots online, save your money. And $2.25 for a cheap beer? hahaha, yeah what ever! The bar tenders expect a tip, same with the waitresses, even though you're dumping in $20.00 bills into their machines! We'll go back there on a cold day in hell! lol

long drive there and weren't prepared to lose so fast. couldn't pace ourselves cause the machines were so tight. can't play anything lower than .30, or it's a waste. put in five bucks playing .30 at a time it was gone in only one or two minutes. tried to play lower and wouldn't win, tried higher and lost 20 bucks in less than 10 minutes. in fact the rest of our evening was shot, nothing to do but go home. thought about all the things we could have done instead for the money we lost. we sure won't be going back there.

Don't go to the Danbury St. Croix Casino! Just don't even be tempted (check their ratings)

This casino has changed. It "used" to be Hole in the Wall. They tore it down and built new.
Now, the machines are so tight to pay for their new building.
They had money troubles while building.
Now, they're making up for it by being the tightest casino around (I suspect the whole 50 state area)

I've decided to stay the heck out of there. I live very close (walking distance), but would rather drive to Hurtel or Hinkley, MN casino, then to ever go back to St. Croix (old hole in the wall)

I mean, look at their star rating. 2 1/2? That is VERY telling and should be enough to warn people to stay the heck away from them!

The food prices are very high, for the quality (used to be good)
Customer service? Only a few good employees remain, the rest are so new, they haven't a clue about anything.
They lowered their employees pay from the old place and expected them to stay.

This isn't a bitter review due to my personal loss. I'm responsible for my gambling and I know that, no matter where you go.
And, I would have given them 5 stars across the board, IF it had been about the "old" Hole in the Wall.
When a person could play a slot their for about an hour before going broke.

If you bring along only $100, be prepared to be out of money in about an hour. That's on a good day.

I used to be able to play a long while (couple to a few hours), come home short, but be happy cause I, stayed awhile, met great people and had a good time. Now though, you put a $20.00 in and it's done in less then 5 minutes (I am serious)

Save your money, go to Hinkley or Hurtel (Hurtel is a very tiny casino tho)

Hope this helps you and saves you some bucks and grief!
