Stay away!!!! The machines are a rip off. Me and friends use to go there and at least one person would walk away a winner. The last time me and four other friends went we all lost if you look all there machines are at the lowest progression possible. It used to be a good place to go and have a decent chance at winning money. Now if anyone goes there just walk through the door throw your money up in the air and just turn around and go back to your car it will be the same experience. Stay away stay away.
We booked a room and drove 200 miles to go to the spa and were never told that it was closed for repairs. Once we got there we didn’t want to drive back home so we booked a players package and stay the night, with the understanding that we could go to their wellness center- which has a bigger whirlpool and many other amenities. The next day we picked up our pass for the wellness Center and went there thinking we were going to go in the sauna. Not only the Sauna was closed but the pool and the hydromassage they claim to have -was nonexistent. All they had is a stinky gym and a basketball court available. I spoke to a supervisor at the casino and explained my frustration, as That was the reason we came there in the first place. She just said sorry sounding very rude, but the spas are being repaired. We cannot offer any sort of compensation. We left there very disappointed, and sore in more ways than one. Very disappointing visit; considering the last time they lost many of our belongings that were left behind; and they couldn’t even locate them the same day we checked out.
Love the Dells. My wife and I used to love Ho Chunk. We've been going for 20 years. We used to go a lot. Ho Chunk dells. Is now the tightest casino ever. It is so obviously different than in the past. No fun. A real bummer. We had a lot of fun in the past good memories. We are done!! Other area Casinos are like HoChunk USED to be. We have much more action and fun. The players club is a joke to. It used to be OK now it's not worth the work inserting the card. Stay away!!
Was hoping for a shower that had warm/hot water. Instead took a freezing cold shower. Maintenance said mixing valve was shot. Left 3 messages with Front Desk Manager to let them know of my disappointed expectations and haven't heard a word since. They obviously don't believe in their mission statement. Will never set foot in a Ho Chunk venue ever again and will be happy to let friends and family know of my experience when they ask.
