My wife and I have always had a blast at Clearwater. We went there for our honeymoon and were able to pay for the entire wedding with Casino winnings. It seems like we had never had a bad day at Clearwater. The staff that worked the craps table remembered us over A year later, The hotel staff was very courteous, I really have nothing bad to say about this place

I have been reading the comments and while I agree its frustrating to lose money its also frustrating to see people surprised they didn't win a jackpot or walk away with a wad of cash. It's called gambling for a reason! For the commenter(s) that said they were robbed or got angry because they were never ahead, well that's life, and no one forced you to gamble. You know the risks when you put your money in the machine, you are free to go at any time. I play there maybe 2 times a week, maybe $40-$60 each time, I lose some and some times I walk away ahead maybe $20, its not much but still a win.
As for Clearwater casino, its definitely one of the better ones, the staff is amazing, the food is delicious, the games are plentiful and fun.
My biggest gripe is the smokey atmosphere, which is tolerable, but that's not necessarily the casino's fault, people will smoke! they do have a non-smoking section. I would lastly like to address the open 24 hour gripe that someone had. Really? That made you mad? Whatever.
Thanks for reading.

We enjoy our trips to Clearwater. It is close to home and everyone is always very pleasant, especially the Keno staff. The slots could pay better. The hotel is great except it really needs some room upgrades such as carpeting, paint and wallpaper. The food venues are very nice and the food is good, however, prices seem a little high. Traveling to the east side is not worth it when we have the very nice, clean Clearwater Casino 35 minutes away.

I've played at most of the casinos throughout western Washington, and I would have to put Clearwater at the top of the list. When the slots are paying, there is no better place to play--clean, bright, friendly, good food, and very little smoke. The staff tries to be friendly and helpful, especially if you play often. Now the catch--when are those slots paying? I've had a few good days with the Clearwater, made hundreds. But for the most part, I've lost thousands looking for those good days. You can't come out ahead; you can only hope to pay a reasonable cost per hour for your entertainment. I would put that cost at roughly $40 per hour, unless you are wagering quarters or less. If you want to gamble in Washington, I think that's what you'll typically pay. I've decided that I can't afford to continue paying so much for this hobby, and thus have self barred myself for awhile. But for those of you who have cash laying around and want to get rid of it, I think the ClearWallet is about as good as you're going to find in the Seattle area. As to my previous question: your best chances are on Sunday through Wednesday, midnight to 2 AM. Don't go early or stay any later. The biggest reason I've lost more than I gained here is that they will take back the big payouts as quick as they can. Too many bad bays for my taste...

This is a reasonably nice mid-sized casino and has a large number of electronic slots. There are table games as well as keno too.

The deli is decent (they have great home-made clam chowder on Fridays), but I think the buffet ($23.95) is overpriced on the weekend, unless you like crab legs, in which case you're in luck.

The slots seem tight in my opinion, and they don't have many of the latest "big name" slots, either. There are 3 different cash systems for the slots, one using your player's club card as a stored-value card, and the other two using bar coded tickets. None is compatible with the other two, so you may find yourself constantly cashing out to switch machines.

One GREAT feature, they do have a free shuttle bus that meets every ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, then they cart you off to the casino. So if you're staying downtown without a car, and you just want to get away, you can walk onto the Bainbridge Island ferry. Enjoy a nice 35 minute ferry ride and they'll pick you up on the other side, then bring you back when it's time to go. They have live music some nights. Serve-yourself soft drinks are free, and cocktails and beer are cheap.
