Used to actually win a little, not much anymore. I guess they have to pay for all the so called upgrades somehow, right. Going elsewhere to spend my money.
I was never much of a gambler, but I like to go to the RedWind for Spanish 21. After playing a little, I always seem to have enough points for a very nice dinner in the restaurant. I don't care for the buffet, even though it is ok, I just prefer the quality over quantity in the nice restaurant with a fireplace, great service, and reasonably priced good food. The early bird specials are great and even enough to share with a friend. The snack bar is good, too. The dealers are nice, the other players are usually fun. I love the free play. It's fun gambling with their money and I like that I can play for awhile on a smaller amount of money. Other casinos don't compare in my mind.
I would have to agree with the review that claims that the best time to play slots are at the end of the month. The games tend to suck people dry slowly at the No Win Casino during weekday hours. I'm not even going to discuss weekends or evenings as that would be financial suicide. It's best to play quarter bets, or hope to hit and run on a higher bet. If you choose to camp out for a while on a machine or two, its likely that you will go broke pretty quickly. The drinks, food and cappucino machine are nice, as well as the staff, but the amenities are pretty expensive. I've won here in the 20's to 50's during the afternoons, but tend to lose 3 to 4 times that much twice as often. If you want to have a serious crack at getting some of your money back, come on the last 4 or 5 weekdays of the month.
Really like going there. But they are not the same from day to day. The slots are really tight at the first of the month. Must be because all the players are getting that first of the month social security check.
The food has really gone downhill. The buffet is almost the same every day. Seems to be a lot of leftovers served from the previous day . All the Itailian food is awful. Nothing but tomato sauce and tomatoe paste on the pasta products. Pork chops are always like hockey pucks. That wonderful (should be) halibut is way overcooked.
They do, however, have excellent food in their deli. They always have a $6.00
sandwich every day. I only gave them a 1 for the food rating and that is for the brunch,lunch,and dinner buffet. The deli gets a big 10 for service quality,and price. The deli is the only place I will eat at the Red Wind from now on.
