Slots are very tight and pay out sucks. Played max bet of $10, bonus rround paid $102, then played $5 bet, bonus round payed $26, its a joke.People were getting mad, understandable. Makes you feel ripped off.
Just so you know what point of view my review comes from, I am not a "high roller" gambler. When I go to a casino, I come in planning to spend $40-60 on a night's entertainment. I buy a pack of smokes (I normally don't even smoke, just kind of an "if you can't beat 'em" scenario when you come to the casino) and just enjoy people watching, pushing buttons, and occasionally getting excited for a stranger. I'm not there trying to win my retirement or anything.
But at this place, I can barely finish one of my special ceremonial gambling cigarettes before I've lost $20 on bets between fifty cents and a dollar. 30 minutes in and I'm down $40, wondering why I came in the first place. I'll then try to slow way down on my final $20 and slowly get drained at another machine doing quarter bets.
All said and done, it will cost you about $60 to sit at the slots for an hour casually betting fifty cents at a time. At least in the 10 or so times I've been here, always the same. Everyone that has ever come here with me has identical luck. No one I've ever known has come out of here with more money than they walked in with on the slots. I understand how math works, I don't expect to win AT ALL. I'd just like to buy a couple hours of free iced tea before getting wrung dry. Not many of the WA casinos are loose, but Red Wind has been by far the worst I have experienced. I only ever end up there because it's close to town, when I should just head the opposite direction to Little Creek. It's a bit further away, but I get to spend about twice as long enjoying my vices.
Figured I'd hit Red Wind again to see if they have improved their slots for people who bet max on their slots. No suprise, they haven't. Lost $800 tonite playing their slots. As usual, the more you bet, the less chance of a payout or even getting into a bonus. I guess they think the people who gamble more on their bets don't really care to be entertained or even care about a chance at winning. Save your money if you bet big, because it seems the only ones who get to be entertained are the low betting individuals. Evidently, 10-15 spins at a max bet of $4.50 without any payouts is a completely acceptable practice at Red Wind.
Well, over the past two weeks played around $3000 into their slot machines. As usual, the more you bet, the less percentage of wins you will get back. Tonite, I finally got into a bonus after dropping around $250 into their slots. This machine was nice enough to keep adding additional spins. I was betting $1.50 and after a total of 45 free spins I got a bonus payout totaling $10. The Management must be under the belief, that we enjoy spending lots of money just to watch free spins pay out almost absolutely nothing. Less than 1% of the machines I played tonite actually paid more than 3x your bet. Couldn't even play for 10 minutes without having to feed them more money. Lucky Eagle casino is still the worst casino in Washington state but Red Wind is starting to catch up pretty quickly.
