The slots play here used to be pretty good, but since they have started adding a Hotel they have shut down the slots in order to pay for it. Anyone who says the Indians slots are fair doesn't play them. They shut down certain machines so that they will not bonus and they manipulate the size of the bonuses so that you cannot possibly win. If you have to spend $50 to get a bonus and the bonus is $10, well you can do the math.

I've been going to the Point for a few years, but my enjoyment has been getting progressively worse over the past year. One of my major gripes about this place is that the ticket cash out machines are always out of order, forcing patrons to go to the cashier. Well, besides the fact that there's usually one cashier there's even 15 minutes during the early morning hours where NO ONE can cash out your ticket. I realize it's only 15 min., but usually they're just standing around anyway. Once in awhile the slots pay off, but they definitely seem tighter than other casinos... maybe cause they need to pay for their new building?

We have been stopping there for over a year and will NOT be returning. We use the ferry to get there they offer to repay you for, however they keep finding ways to not pay us. This latest excuse after 3 to 4 hours of two of us playing their slots they said because we had not use the ferry in one day. Guess they want to pay for their new building before it's done?

I stopped in here on a weekday afternoon for a couple of hours, 1 to 4 pm. This place is very small, dark and way off the beaten path. The grainy eighties music and wood paneled walls at the Players Club desk add to the run-down tavern atmosphere. The table game(s?) were hard to find, thus very tiny. There are three or four offerings for many of the popular slot games, making for a very small gaming floor. Several of the machines were shut down or out of paper tickets. O.K., this looks very low budget; perhaps they keep the overhead down to pay out more prize money. Right. I played .30, .60, and 1.20 on several of the working machines. I was never close to breaking even. I found the play to be boring, with half-sized bonuses few and far between. Several of the regulars mentioned how things have tightened up since new management took over. In my case, I went to the Clearwater and made up for most of my losses.
I think the only way to survive here is to go right at opening early in the week and find "THE" hot machine in the casino. Just be warned--if you ever did win a jackpot here, everyone else in the room will most likely groan and glare at you for ruining their play for the rest of the evening.
