The Lucky Eagle casino is always dirty and smoky. The staff is very uppity especially the managers, security, and the dealers. I call the buffet the barfet, food is bland and semi warm and forget a refill on your drink. Can't find a parking spot even tho it's not that great a place but what else are you going to do in Oakville?
First casino I was ever in, found others pay much better, have better food, by far, better service. They do have good entertainment. Monday senior meals are inexpensive enough, crab is pre frozen, tastless, prime rib is usually overdone and dry, jsut can't win here for losing.
First of all, we love the casino. We do not like the buffet because it is dirty. Start with the floor. The salad bar is a joke. The food is ok. The service is bad. Hot plates at the salad bar? Those people need to be trained. If I ran my resturant like they do I would be ashamed to open in the morning. The next item please put some keno machines in like game king multi-game. It will make my day. The keno they have now is a joke. No players!
Horrible casino. Blackjack dealers have extremely poor skills -- frequent misdeals Pit bosses are terse and disrespectful.
This was my one and only visit to Lucky Eagle. I agree with a previous poster who said that the casino caters to "regulars." And, I also agree that the dealers tend to lose focus on the gaming and the players. It is a bit hard to describe how badly the employees handle customers.
I've been to casinos all over the world, and the Lucky Eagle is one of the most unprofessional. I don't really care if I win or lose at gambling, because it is just entertainment for me. But, the attitude and lack of judgment by the Lucky Eagle staff and management made my visit just awful.
The only good thing is the high limit on pass line odds (5X) at the craps table.
