Overall the Resort is awesome but if you are going to gamble, the SLOTS are TIGHT.
Sad to say, I am now a BELIEVER in the 40 hours of reading I did after losing my rear end and breaking the bank every trip this month... I know this after sometimes up to 3 trips a week in 2 years. I recently did a lot of studying (after leaving over $1,000 in just 3 trips LAST WEEK) and COMING HOME TO FINALLY read multiple reviews of "TIGHT SLOTS".
So today, I listened to the "More ACTIVE Gamblers" and headed to Winstar for the FIRST TIME EVER. I've never actually seen anyone at Choctaw hit the jackpot in person like they post on Facebook. TODAY at Winstar in just 1 hour, I WITNESSED jackpots hit of $2,000, $2,400 and $4,000. Those were the JUST THE ones that I ACTUALLY went and looked at. There were a half dozen more where they were filling out paperwork and too many people were there so I couldn't get a good look at all the numbers.
Overall today, in one little area at Winstar, and on one row, 2 slots got the message "Please wait for an attendant" AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE STILL READING... I was only in one little section at Winstar... Who knows what was going on elsewhere but all I heard today at Winstar was BELLS AND WHISTLES!!!!
Again, in TWO YEARS and way more than hundreds of hours at Choctaw I have NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN THIS IN PERSON! Even though there are thousands of people that still go to Choctaw, and just a handful that I've seen get "RED SPINS", the reviews say it all...
STAY AWAY.... The reviews I remembered the most that stuck in my mind about Choctaw (a place I never believed I would write a negative review on) are: "I never win on Slots between 10 am and 2 pm" "My husband and I have a budget of $500 a day and we can burn it up on High Stakes Slots in minutes only to lose it all" "I've seen their employees wipe out the ash trays and then wipe off the machines with the same rag" "Stay away from Slots and play cards or something else where your odds of winning are not changed by the TIME OF DAY" "I can walk in and listen to the bells ringing to tell you whether I'm going to win or lose" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, Choctaw but my first trip to Winstar was a winner today!
I'll always remember hearing the bells ringing and cheers of all of those who hit REAL JACKPOTS right there in front of my eyes today if I ever consider coming back to your place.
WORD HAS BEEN GETTING OUT FOR YEARS THAT YOU MAKE MILLIONS FROM PEOPLE WHO DON'T LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS.... Granted the staff at Choctaw are awesome...
From the Security guys to the people who are there within minutes when the machines run out of paper (OFTEN), to those who walk around and help give you directions.
