The resort/hotel: my wife and I travel frequently and stay in 4+ star hotels typically. Our room - a standard King in the new tower - was comparable to rooms costing 2-3 times as much throughout the country. Mind you, it's new so the luster is there. It was comfortable, tasteful and had nice technology touches. The view was boring, but that's just what you get in Southern OK. The pools were wonderful and surprisingly well done. We didn't encounter crowds, so that helped. Some of the people by the larger pool were a little trashy, but overall, that didn't impact us.

Casino: all the usual slot machine selections were there. I won a little on a couple, but got killed on most. That's typically my luck though on slots, so I don't know how loose their payouts are. Tables were great if you just get over the $.50 ante. Yes, you're giving up another X points to the house, but for casual gamblers, it's all luck anyhow, so it doesn't matter. We had super friendly dealers and won overall.

Restaurant selections are reasonable, buffet was ok. We aren't big drinkers, but that could be an issue for many. They don't - as of now - serve alcohol on the casino floor. It is smoking, but well enough ventilated that my wife and I weren't bothered. Crowds were minimal on a Monday night stay, and they were a mixed bag. Plenty of players that looked to be blowing their social security checks, but what casino doesn't have those? In general, the people were nice.

For $99/night, I would HIGHLY recommend a stay here. Short drive from Dallas and a fun getaway.

Consider yourself lucky. Only a few win at this awful place. I will never go back to a Oklahoma casino. I hope Texas will pass a bill that allows casinos and we make big flea markets out of the Choctaw casinos. These places need to be investigated for fairness by some government branch.
