i am not pleased at all with this casino. just spent ten dollars in a.50 cent quarterback cash machine and not one hit. not one. this casino is known for this.
If I could rate 0 this would be better. Oklahoma casinos are self regulated and do not have to payout any % of take. Also, they are a sovereign State and you have limited rights while you are on their property.
Be very careful when going to Cherokee Casino in Siloam Springs. They will single you out if you look like you're winning. Even though we were surrounded by 200 other intoxicated players, we were handcuffed and thrown in jail without any sobriety tests. We've been going to this casino for years and have never been treated this way. After doing a little research, I found out that this happened to another customer who was staying at the hotel. In his case, he was having a hard time finding his room. A security officer rudely confronted him instead of offering to help, then called police officers to arrest him for public intoxication. I've also found this article from not too long ago:
I WAS a frequent visitor several years at this establishment. In the last 12 months alone I have gambled away thousands of dollars at the bare minimum at this one casino. Today, I was banned for a 24 hour period, humiliated and incredibly insulted by this casinos security staff. I had apparently broke a federal law by going to EMPTY machines that people had left change on (all under $1.00 most under 20 cents) and cashed them out trying to put them together to make a dollar or two to gamble back. I was ordered off the casino floor to a little room where I was detained for this "terrible" crime and punished. Give me a break Cherokee Casino-- was the couple a bucks you "lost" (though I was putting it back in your machines) worth losing a very loyal customer?? I will NEVER go to another Cherokee Casino as long as I live to gamble! I was so horribly embarrassed by something I had no idea was "wrong" - if I find a quarter on the way to the parking lot should I leave it to avoid arrest?
