Recently revisited and stayed at BTR. This trip was even better than the last.
We stayed over for the Wheel of Fortune try outs. The hotel room was awsome and we ate at the buffet and it was great.
The casino had a no smoking area for slots which I really liked. The property has some amazing art displays throughout the property. All in all an amazing place.
What a amazing place! The casino offers a large smoke-free place to play slots, I wish more places offered that.
The poker room is large and comfortable. The food was great in all of the restaurants. The hotel has a really nice indoor and outdoor pool. The artwork throughout the property is amazing. I will be back.
We enjoyed our overnight stay here a few months back. Our room was very nicely appointed with a large balcony and a pretty swank bathroom. Didn't win a whole lot on the slots, but they do have an extensive and entertaining selection of machines. Everyone we encountered was very nice and welcoming. The native artwork displayed on the lobby level is nothing short of spectacular.
The showroom, however, was disappointing. We were there to see Don Rickles, and the theater is just your basic hotel ballroom, no theater chairs or stadium seating.
All in all, we had a great time there, and will no doubt be back.

I recently stayed at the Buffalo Thunder Hotel and Casino in Santa Fe with my family and it was a big disappointment. I called the hotel twice before placing reservation and received wrong information both times about their restaurants and kennel. None of the buffets were open and there is no kennel. We almost booked a rate that includes breakfast but THERE IS NO BREAKFAST available at this hotel. We had to drive for several miles with young children and the dog every time we had to eat. This hotel is far away from the city.
The service provided during our stay was poor too. The Hilton customer service hasn't corrected their official site about the services offered. I had a frustrating experience with Hilton customer service also. I don't recommend the Buffalo Thunder hotel.
