2012 will mark the end of the reign of Hard Rock Casino as the "hip and Trendy" hang-out for the young, beautiful people in Vegas. The Cosmo has officially smashed the competition, becoming the new "King of the Kids". Hard Rocks title lasted well over a decade, but from what I saw on my last three trips to Vegas, the tides have turned. The place was packed on the weekend with the L.A. looks crowd, driving in from California, spending large quantities of Daddys cash. With the entertainment offered, it appears the Cosmo is here to stay.

As far as the rest of the casino, rooms are gorgeous with walk out balconies. Table limits are high, even for the strip (except Cesars) but the scenery is nice. You have to check this place out when in Vegas. You will definately remember it!

Stayed at the Cosmo62 in July for five nights for my honeymoon. We booked a Wrap Around Terrace suite and got a room on the 62nd floor overlooking the fountains of Bellagio. I can not go on enough at how nice the view was and how high this was. Being able to go outside on a balcony, in Vegas was an unreal experience. This was honestly the most time I have ever spent in a hotel room in Las Vegas, and it was not just because it was my honeymoon... We also had a great view of the Strip and our room was eye level with the sign at the top of Planet Hollywood.

The casino was okay, they had a decent selection of slots and VP. The table games I never played as I never saw anything lower than a $25 minimum. The casino is a strange shape; really long and narrow with tables pretty much running down the middle of about half of it. The clientele is a bit odd and I felt out of place, especially at night. This place is full of young, wannabe rich people who are all dressed up as if they were at a wedding.

The chandeleir bar is quite a site. The folks that built this place did not spare anything. No wonder the first people developing it went bankrupt. There is not a lot of selection for restaurants here, but what they do have is great. They have a hidden Pizza Place on the third floor that is unreal. It is they best pizza I have ever had. The Wicked Spoon Buffet is one of the best buffets in Vegas.

The location of the Cosmo can not be beat either.
