This is a disgusting hotel worst experience. They don't clean the rooms at all, based on the huge blood stain we found on the bed. Unfortunately we had kids with us that day and they had to be exposed to this filthy, unsanitary room.
When the hotel personal was notified they just offer to switch our room and the room they had given us was a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. After seeing that room and returning to our room, that I had not seen because I was out getting some food, we decided to go back to the front desk. We had taken our food back to the car a soon as my cousin mention the situation he had found in the room and before checking any of the rooms out (unfortunately we would end up eating cold food).
We had to wait over 20 minutes because the lady was on break and no one was there to attend the front desk. Not only did she refuse to give us back our money but didn't seem to believe us about the filthy room. She must have heard the conversation I was having with my cousins wife, about speaking to the corporate office if the lady didn't help us. My cousin was the one speaking to her and she had offer to give us back half the money and put us in the room she had given us, since they don't offer refunds.
She was saying that the room is cleaned and that there couldn't be any blood stain on the bed. That's when I stepped in and said it was dirty that we weren't making this up. That's when she said she was going to refund our money but first she had to send security to check it out make sure we weren't lying.
Waited another 20 mins security came to the room took pictures and left. My cousin came back up 10 mins later and said we had to be out of the room before we get our money back. Security was nice enough to approach us and assumed we had been told to leave the room because of sanitary reason. But unfortunately this wasn't the case, the only reason was to get a refund. That refund was only given because the lady knew I would contact corporate about this unsanitary hotel.
I would give them a lower star if I could would never recommend this hotel to anyone even if it was the only one available. Which reminds me the lady also wished us luck finding another hotel because they were all booked and it was more of the way she said it like she was hoping we couldn't find another hotel. Not the kind of customer service anyone should experience.
My last review about this Hotel/Casino was good. However, things have gone way down hill now.
It's not the mountain ahead that wears you down, it's the grain of sand in your shoe.
The room had fleas.( figured this out on the final day, after being bitten on the foot) Did you know this place was "Pet Friendly"? This was the second room. The first room was filthy and the AC didn't work, so we had to move.
The jacuzzi water had so much chlorine I thought I was being boiled in Sulfuric Acid. The pool was dirty.
The pit bosses are generally angry over the current state of the economy. They no longer care about customer service.
I Had played Craps for over three hours. I was winning.The craps crew was OK, except for one dealer that came on. He used to work a grind joint in Jersey. I was doing well so he kept trying to break my rhythm. Just before and while I'd shoot he'd speak to me. Try that on the golf course and you would be punched in the mouth.
So, I stopped my roll and hesitated in disgust. While standing there I was contemplating leaving the table, I switched the dice from one hand to the other in plain sight of the craps crew and over the table. The surly a****** (who had now rotated to the stick man position) actually knocked the dice from my hand with the stick. That hurt. I had a bruised middle finger from before and he banged it with the stick.
I have been to Las Vegas over 100 times over the last 35 years or so, and I have never had anything like that happen to me.
I have never been so humiliated in a casino in any state over my entire lifetime.
I walked over to the pit boss and threw my player's card at him and said" If it snows in hell, or I live to be a thousand years old, or you gave me comped RFB for life, I will never set one foot in this dump again as long as I live".
He then said, OK leave right now, or I'll have security escort you out.
I'm considering a formal complaint
I'm a business owner. I'm not some low life, but I was sure treated like one.
We used to visit this casino each trip because of the abundance of full pay video poker machines and promotions. Over the past several years the inventory of FPVP has been devestated and promotions scaled back.
Several years ago we stayed a few nights in the hotel and checked out early because the walls were paper thin and the rugs spotted.
The casino primarily caters to the blue collar types who favor slots, a cheap buffet and bingo. The lounge occasionaly hosts some pretty decent groups though our favorites, The Checkmates, no longer appear.
The Yukon Grill is considered bargain gourmet, but on our last visit in September 2006 we were very disappointed with the quality of our meal and the service.
Overall, there is no longer reason for us to visit this casino.
