My wife and I are in our late 20s and we're always drawn here because it seems more hip and young. We've stayed at the nugget about 7 times and we were so excited for our first stay here since we always end up driving down here. Disappointing to say the least.

The staff is almost without exception, terrible. We ended up in a smoking room, which is probably our fault. That's okay. We wait to check in as three employees sit around the front desk socializing. Okay. We get to the room and it just smells so terrible. Like I've slept in smoking rooms and this room smelled like a public restroom combined with a strip club. The bed is noisy and has springs. The beds at the other casinos are amazing.

I went to the front desk and asked to pay to upgrade but there was nothing available. That's not their fault, I tried. They offered to "ozone" the room and she said it would take about an hour but we could stay there. Okay sure, anything to make it better. A heavily ethnic gentleman then comes in our room and in what could barely be considered English, shoos us out and says we can't stay. Okay. Let's go have dinner.

We go to Hard Rock Cafe and the food isn't bad. Our waiter, however, is much, much more interested in the bachelorette party next to us, all of whom clearly want nothing to do with him. So much for a refill.

Next morning, we went for the buffet. Very much nothing to get excited about. All the staff was busy having their own conversations. Fantastic. Should have walked across the street to McDonald's.

Housekeeping also did not come to my room today so I will be reusing my wash rag from last night.

To summarize:
Hard rock hotel and casino, I used to think you were a cool, exciting place. I wanted so badly to stay in your hotel but it was a little too expensive for me. I finally decide to spend a little more and stay here. I was disappointed in every facet of your room and your staff. I hope you use this to prevent future guests from having this experience. I will be staying at the golden nugget in the future and enjoying a very comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Cool, is the key word, to describe Hard Rock Casino Biloxi! Make sure you keep your eyes wide open for this venue. All employees are on target when it comes to guest service. Checking into the Casino Hotel offers full information on all events, happening during your stay. We were even offered the guitar and amp promo. You know, take it to your room and jam, if you want too. Just this small fee tacked to your credit card. ( Not too sure about this promo, yet, I can see many taking part.) Our room had this amazing view over looking the Gulf of Mexico, Beau Rivage and Hard Rock Pool. On the third floor, Janice Joplin Floor, my favorite friend, Willie Nelson's Picture, was many, that glazed down the well decorated hotel. Rooms are beautiful, offering your favorite type of music as you open the door. Music Magazines, along with this high quality CD you can take home with you, as your gift. I love the Purple or in New Orleans we say; "Eggplant" color tones, of the decor.~~Traveling to the Casino, you get the view of many rock star costumes along with band instruments signed and dated. Security is all over. Don't worry about any type of issues. Well trained group with few turn overs. You can catch the same faces when you return for your next trip! Soda machines located in different spots to help yourself. Free flowing cocktail servers, all the time. I love the way the restroom located in the casino, has entrance for men & women, yet, you can wash your hands around mixed company, bathroom area is separate. Many machines that will give you play back. Table games stay busy. Crap Table packed. High Roller Section, you can meet, Mr. Billy Deville, the Evangelist of Hard Rock Casino Biloxi! Knows all you need to know about music. Yes, bring your jacket! They keep it cool!!! If you have asthma or any other type of breathing issues, this is the place for you. Nice Buffet. They do break and close during breakfast and lunch, so watch your timing on that one. Best of all, The Player's Club Staff. The nicest group of people you will ever meet, on the Beach Side of Biloxi!
