My husband and I enjoy gambling when we travel and we travel frequently. Biloxi, Mississippi is only about an hour and a half from our house even though we live in Florida. We go to Biloxi, which has about eight different casinos, about every other month. We have played the slots in Vegas, Minnesota, Alabama, South Florida, and we are regulars in Biloxi. I have never been to a casino like this one, however. I was only betting between $1.20 and $2 and I hit about 7 times. I won $982 on a $2 bet on one machine, I want almost $500 on a dollar sixty bet on another, I won almost $400 on a dollar twenty bet on another, and I won several $300 pays. The casino in Duluth was the second highest paying casino that I've ever been to, but the Bear Lake casino and the Mystic Lake casino were the absolute worst. The beggars flock to me when I was winning and just to mention to a nice male Indian looking employee on my way to the restroom sent the security people over to my machine to clear then out. I wish the Minnesota casinos serve free alcohol like other casinos, but you can't have everything. I highly recommend this place and my next trip to Minnesota will definitely include a stop at the Grand! Note that I gave a rating of a 3 for food and drink, hotel amenities, and table games because we did not partake in any of that.

Recently attended this smokey ash tray. Yes thats what will greet you when you walk in the front door. After that the sad looks on peoples faces after losing and losing on there server based slots. This was the last time we will be going anywhere near this place. Its just no fun when you don't have any gaming entertainment! I can't stress this enough! Terrible payouts and tiny bonuses when you do finally get one. Would strongly suggest other options if your looking for gambling entertainment.

I went to a concert at the casino last weekend and almost suffocated from all the cigarette smokers!! The concert was fantastic!! The smoke was not!!!!!! I have asthma/COPD & it was terrible. I had to hold my breath every time I walked from one area to another. The "nonsmoking section" is a joke! The smoke travels throughout the whole building. Not like there is an invisible barrier that is going to stop the cigarette smoke. Should have more floors/levels like the hotel does and make one for nonsmokers and the other for smokers. I won't be going there as I like to breathe.

My friend and I experienced, by far and away, the poorest slot play at Grand Casino Mille Lacs than at any other casino we've visited, period. Truly appalling, no question about it. Tiny little wins; difficult to trigger bonuses and features; even tinier wins within bonuses and features; and simply terrible slot play overall. We heard many other players complaining of the same poor play and extraordinarily small wins. There are many old slot machines scattered about that have failing screens and non-working buttons. The casino itself is clean and in good order; but, again, slot play was shockingly bad. I don't think I can stress that fact enough.

We stayed at the attached hotel for a couple of nights, which was fine. Staff was polite, both at the hotel and within the casino itself. We ate at the buffet one night and it was barely average, at best. We ate at the cafe a couple of times and the food and service there was actually pretty good.

So it doesn't miss your attention, I'll say it one more time: slot play at this casino was just plain horrible. If you stop in, be prepared to lose and lose -- and lose some more. Without question, we will never go back to this sad, sad casino.

Sorry Grand Casino Mille Lacs, but you clearly deserve a terrible review.

The workers are very nice and polite. Except there wanna b super cop security guards. There are a few decent ones that treat you like people and not dirt. But there are a few that must have failed there police exams and are still butt hurt about it. Especially the black coat named mike. He takes advantage of the guests and looks down on them as if he is better than the rest of the world. I am a gold
card and I am harassed by him at least once a week. On top of being treated like a criminal for spending my money. I've hardly ever won anything. Grand casino Mille lacs is fined monthly for there illegal payout percentage. But they make so much money that it's cheaper for them to pay the fines than loosen the slots. They take advantage of people as much as they can. The food is good, but then again it should be for the price. There is not one good value in the whole building. I hope this review saves a lot of people a lot of money. Go anywhere else but this dump
