Stopped here recently with the hope that things might be better. Nope, same depressing atmosphere with alot of unhappy people. No smiles here, just mean looks from staff and everyone in general. Who would be happy when you keep hoping there is a chance to win? Old Diamond Joe was way better as far as payouts go. Really miss the good old days since Vegas took over??
This casino was a nice place to go before the Vegas people took over . Customer service went in the tank . Employees act like they do not care if you are there or not. Slot payout can not possibly be 90% seems lower. They have made it a very unpleasant experience to go there.
Honestly it is not worth starting your car to go there. Employees are rude. You get a look of I hate you from them when you enter. Slots must be worked over they do not hit or keep you playing at all especially video poker that's a no armed bandit in all the Diamond Jo's. Just a crummy experience every time I ever went there. And I quit going there altogether.
Small Dirty Casino, will kick people out for drink

Good location from the twin cities. Right off of 35 first exit into Iowa. But that's it. Casino is small and dirty with full ashtrays and bottles and glasses all over. Usually like to play dice but craps dealer were very poor, game moved very slow while we waited for the dealers to figure out the pay offs..Found craps to frustrating waiting for them to figure things out and listening to them talk to each other. Seemed like the players were in the way of their conversations..Worst craps dealer I have ever seen in any casino. Drink service was good at the tables but wife said it was ok at slots. Beer bottles and drink glasses everywhere. But you probably should not drink here if you want to play anyway. Saw a guy kicked out for cheering to loud at a slot.. Was just a young excited kid did not seem that bad at all. But they sure made a big deal out of it...Anyway if you want a casino in Iowa with all the games I think you are definitely better off driving a little further..
