Jumer's is my favorite non Vegas casino. Rooms are good, staff is excellent, and fair gaming. They have plenty of full pay video poker at the quarter level. DJ's steakhouse is excellent and affordable. The cafe is very good with great breakfast specials all day long. Players club is good and comps are very fair. I can see why Jumer's wins many awards from the Casino player best of editions.
rooms great , Except balcony's ,,can,t sit there //Spider cwebs , spiders .. told clean only several times a year . Food needs better quality, beef usally tough
We visited Jumer's this week and had an enjoyable time. The hotel rooms are nice and clean as is the casino. We ate at the Buffett and it was delicious, so many choices and great desserts. My husband and I really like the no smoking in the casino. I talked to many people and asked if they have been to the Iowa casinos across the river and most of them said that the Iowa casinos are too smokey and they enjoy the cleanliness at Jumer's. I get great comps from Jumer's. We will be back soon.
My brother and his wife invited my wife and I to spend a Friday and Saturday night at Jumers. We did not know what to expect because we live 3 hours away.It was GREAT! The hotel was beautiful and everything was sooooooooo clean and sparkling! The casino had a good selection of machines and the table games were just fine. The best drinks and so inexpensive..A Miller 64 and a mixed drink for $5...All the time not just when it was slow. Fantasic personnel. Very friendly and welcoming. I'm not sure when we are going back but I know we will! Two things of note: $1 in equals 1 point and you can cash your points for CASH...not forcing you to play it on the machines but you can actually cash out the points and get the dough..And also, absolutely NO RIFF RAFF!!!! Enough said!
