My family planned a retirement party for me at the American Place casino. We had a nice dinner, pleasantly surprised to get a 20% veterans discount on food and non-alcoholic drinks. Some of the party headed to the poker room, where they played well and had a good time. The rest of us played blackjack or tried the slots. The two dealers we had were fantastic, good energy, and every employee from security to the pit bosses all had very friendly demeanors. Although I personally got smoked at the table, a couple of my sons did very well, and everyone had a great time, even my daughter in law, wife and mother in law had positive experiences at the slots. We will definitely return to this casino in the future.

The temporary location is a great big tent but once you get inside, you feel like you're at a real casino. The casino is easy to get to, off of Interstate HWY 94 and they give you generous comps so that you return more often.

I Love it at this casino

It is "The Temporary" not the permanent version. High limit room and the casino floor lacks any classic/traditional slots. Ther were a few in the High Limit room, but they were replaced with table games. The Video Poker pay tables are good at $1+ and up, but the players club severely penalizes VP players by requiring $5 coin in for every 1 point vs. $1 for slots.

My go to casino for now on!
