The casino has a fresh look - because it's relatively new - but the staff needs to be much-better trained in all aspects of customer service which tends to bleed over into other areas of operations. Haven't tried the new Buffet room yet the food service to date needs to be better prepped and system to coordinate all such services needs a lot of work. Slots are so-so and as far as payouts, they are average at best. The 954 music lounge for shows is poorly laid out for accessible seating and those who pay premium prices. If anyone stands up, no one can see a damn thing unless you are in the front row. Their talent offerings aren't bad and the tickets somewhat reasonable. Downside is that their ticketing office is at their sister venue in Miami so if you have an issue on event day, good luck sucker! The security checking bags does a cursory review. The Club card folks double as staff at a concert (too cheap to hire pros who handle audiences) and then stand there watching the show. For those who work in the arena/aud/venue business, that's a no-no. Serving the paying crowd should be the top priority. I still prefer Vegas and especially love Downtown. The little guy built that town and the Mob during the early days was smart enough to realize that Joe Average was the foundation to long-running success. While I despise the hassle of a 5 1/2 flight, the 2,168 air miles go quickly knowing that I'll be "home" when the wheels touch down at McCarran.

  I usually go to biloxi, Atlantic city and las Vegas. I am high levels at other casinos and enjoy diversion from retired life.  
  This casino hit the spot.  But food needs fixing.  Too high for small size and quality. Simple fix, if management is serious.
   Gaming exciting. Other reviews on return reflect unrealistic expectations.  It is Gambling.  You will loose if you expect to win.
