I have never felt more uncomfortable at a casino.
I played blackjack for a few hours. Mostly breaking even, at one point I was down $300. Then I got a good streak going and found myself up $700. At that point several pit bosses were congregated right by my table, looking upset / worried, and kept looking at me. I've had much much bigger wins and losses than that at other places. That's just how it goes. There are big wins and big losses.
This place tried to make you feel guilty for winning only a little bit.
Got some food at the snack bar on the way out. Was decent food, and very very inexpensive. Only positive thing at all at this place.
Several dealers / pit bosses were talking amongst themselves saying how they can't wait to get out of there and find work at a better casino.
The games are always tight. No time for fun because each spin is a losing spin. Bonus games hardly ever come your way. If they do don't get excited because many will net you a zero win after many free spins. The more you bid the less your chances of winning and the quicker they will take your money. The casino is now empty of crows many nights. It has been months since I have seen their machines pay out. If your machine runs out of paper you will be waiting a long time for a slot attendant. You would be better giving your money away to someone of your choice and saving your gas, time and toll money. What a waste of time to go to Harrington.
Without a doubt the rudest casino I have ever been to. I went up to a floor manager with a very legitimate concern about handicap access, he looked and me and said what 'dya want me to do, I'm getting off in ten minutes and walked away. We went to a customer service person she listened said " I can't believe he said that"!!! I'm so sorry....... and that was it. Never going back ..would not recommend to anyone!!!!!!
I frequent AC mostly, me and a friend took the trip down there because delaware just opened table games. With respect on that note, I understand that the dealers are new and inexperienced. But to be inexperienced and RUDE to the customers is disapointing.
The cards were slow out of the shoe but more than that the particular dealer(s) me and my buddy had didn't look like they were happy we were playing and one fellow who was dealing actually told me "gimme a break, I'm new" and "That If I didn't like how he dealt I could take my complaint somewhere else!". I found these remarks rude.
Maybe an "I'm new, I apologize the game is moving slowly", or even make a humorous comment to break the ice in return. Not something sarcastic and disregarding. Anyway, food was ok, I wasn't up anymore than $50 the whole night. At least if I lose try and put a smile on my face people! I won't be making the trip down there anymore, I feel more appreciated at the Taj.
