I have been a member for several years and in the beginning there were dollar amounts played that when reached you got a higher level card. I started at the opening level and worked my way up and was within $1,100.00 of getting the second highest level of a players card, (you get more perks as you get a higher level) I had to go out of the area for a while, 4 months and come back and the casino put me back at the first level. I had spent over $20,000 during that year but Abecause I didn't play for 3 months I lost my status. That's just wrong it should be totaled by money spent over at least a year and if there's no activity on a members card for a year then I say they can change the level. When I have spent so much and the perks are not near what they should be for the levels they should allow the players to keep their level for at least a year and when they come back and play those dollars should accumulating on the level the were at if they play within a year from the time no activity started. That is simply not fair to those of us who spend our hard earned money and look forward to getting at least some perks out of the money we spent, if not winning a good percentage of our money back. Which I have lost well more than I have won, but to lose also my players card status because of a short period I was not here to play is just wrong! To have to start over to accumulate enough spent to reach a level is wrong when they should be looking at the total of money I have spent with them. If I only go 3-4 times a year but spend 2-$3,000 each time I should still have credit for that accumulated then I might come more often to use or take advantage of the perks offered. As it is who cares (to me) if I have a players card and use it or not. It makes me feel like I'm being cheated because according to them I didn't spend my money fast enough or often enough, even though the overall total is a large some to most people.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights and the manager Nicole said she can't do anything for us but we have to fill out a report and wait! They have been give us the run around with horrible service all day! We been trying to contact health department etc to resolve this matter. Nothing yet!

I give this casino 5 stars because I consistently win here! In May of this year and into June 2013 I have won close to $50K In the high limit room.

what's the old saying? Cant win if you don't play!

The customer service is top notch!

The players club is well worth the hassle of sliding the card into the machines, the paybacks are very generous.

Two casinos: 1) the main casino with the new hotel, and 2) the little casino a few miles off the main road.

1) The main casino is huge!! My first visit, I never got out of the room to the right as you walk in. A lot of my favorite slots were there and they have some of the newest slots in that room. The smoke doesn't bother me as much at the Desert Diamond casino. Players appear respectful towards other players here and it isn't as crowded as Desert Diamond, so maybe that is part of it. I had left my lucky charm on a machine for about 20 minutes, forgot it, and when I wildly returned to where I had left it, it was still there with a nice lady watching over it. One negative is that I never get served a soda/drink, and Arizona is hot. Sitting there for a long time without liquid is not good for business. Every time I've ever gotten a soda, I've had to get the servers as they walk out of the prep room. Probably not enough drink servers--but I notice that no one ever tips them except me.

Venturing out to other parts of the casino, one can go to the left as they enter and walk down a narrow hall with slots, so they are smart to use up every available space to their advantage. You walk into some table games, which I don't play, and then some slots to the right, circling around the room. There are some places to eat, but I haven't tried them. When I thought I had seen all the slots, I found yet another room and another section...it just goes on and on. They have a beautiful hotel open now, so that should impact the atmosphere. Rooms seem a little on the high end for my budget, however. I like roaming around this place for hours but I never leave with any money. The parking lot seems safe and well lit.
Casino #2, sub-casino a few miles off the main road: This is a little casino. The parking lot is small but you can always find a spot. It's kind of cozy in the desert surrounded by cactus. You get a snapshot of Tucson locals here, along with the Indians greeting you at the door. There's quite a variety of machines here and I see people winning small amounts as I walk around the room. Again, at either casino, I have not seen any big wins and all of the casinos in Tucson kind of make me want to avoid the Tucson gaming scene.

Some excellent VP here. There is a bank of 6 multi-plays that offer 9/6 Jacks in 3-play and 5-play at nickel, 10c, 20c and 25c denomination. Slots appear to be set at rather low payback. Generally nice casino but lots of smokers using very low end, really acrid cigarettes. Ventilation weak, so only playable by those with allergies at off times when air is palatable. Apparently no buffet, just a diner and a Chinese place. New hotel opening soon.
