The table games are fine but the pit bosses are the worst I've ever seen. We were up on the night and they told us we had to leave. All got kicked out for no reason and got escorted out by a jerk for no reason..

First, it is not conducive for handicap people with walkers, canes or wheelchairs. The elevators are not easily accessible. I felled twice. They only called the next day when I came home to ask if I was okay. I guess they were concern about a law suit. Have never heard from them again about the other difficulties I had with my stay. The Forum is so dimly lit I couldn’t read the menu (I have 20/20 vision). For the price the food wasn't that good. The management offered no compensation for the dinner, I had to ask for deduction of the bill. The staff; other than the valets and the doormen where all under the age of 30 and didn’t have a clue as to how to handle quests. They are ill-trained to accommodate to the needs and expectations of the clientele. This was supposed to be a celebration for my 70th birthday. I ordered a cake, there was none, period. There again all I got was a sorry and we'll look into it, which I'm still waiting for an answer. I have spent time with many hotels of this caliber. Never had I experience such disinterest in helping the guests with their concerns. The same nonchalant attitude was in the casino and the Oak Leave Bar as well. They were too busy talking to each other to have time for the waiting guests. Needless to say, I will not be wasting any more money with staying here again.

I'm not much of a gambler, but my wife loves the slots, though she's hardly a big gambler. The payouts, as is apparently true of all West Virginia casinos, are fairly poor. We've been there four times and each time was pretty much the same. Roulette tables (usually one, sometimes two are going) are fun. The card games are pretty lively and there are usually four or five tables of various games going. It's hit or miss as far as customer service goes. In four trips, I've been asked if I wanted a drink just twice. Player's Club is okay...you can get some nice special packages in the winter and you can build up a small amount of money on your card as you play to apply to your meals. Hotel is very nice, but recently has had to cut back on various small amenities because it has lost a good deal of money. Food is good. Very pricey.

Very Nice! My wife and I spent 2 days here, and did not want to leave. A old Presidential hideaway makes this a stop for every avid gambler. Highly recommended.

Slots didn't pay out very well at all. Over the course of two nights gambling there, I put in about $100 on either $1 machines, or $0.25 machines. I might have won about 10% of my pulls. I'd not recommend the slot machines.

The table games are very nice, 3/2 odds in blackjack with what seemed to be 6 or 8 deck. Minimums on BJ were $15. Roulette had 2 tables, one was a $10 minimum and the other a $15. Double zero's on both tables. I didn't try craps or any other table game.

The Greenbrier is a very nice resort, the casino has a jacket requirement for patrons, but has plenty to loan out if need be. Don't bother driving to this place to gamble, it's reserved for resort guests and members only.

Cocktails run about $12, beers $6 and shots about $10
