The management looked at their full parking lots and construction projects (new entry at Fife and parking garage at I-5) and you guessed it—tightened up the slots again. Dropped in last October on a weeknight, where they announced a six hour closure-very rare. The machines changed after that, dropping from 92% to a much lower prom chip somewhere in the low 80’s. Even a careful gamer doesn’t have a chance now. Took a couple of months off and came back for a 2018 visit. I only play .60, and stay near high coin players being slaughtered in the same network. Doesn’t matter anymore. Since October, playing at .60 always costs me 80.00 an hour at the EQC. If you want to donate to the Puyallup Tribe for entertainment purposes at the rate it would cost for a nice dinner down on Pacific Avenue, go ahead. But you would get more benefit just driving to a Tribal Health Clinic and handing your money to the staff. And they might give you free soft drinks if you ask. Plus you won’t smell like an ashtray or feel like the biggest sucker in town for the 20th time.
