I've been to vegas 5 times in the last 2 years and it's mostly because Excalibar keeps giving me three free nights every six months! Also I get free slot play and free food or drink credits. So it's best to sign up for the players club card.

Let's face it you never really use your hotel room in Vegas other than taking a shower and getting a few winks at night. So the room doesn't have to be the penthouse suite at Caesars or Bellagio.

The best part of Excalibar is the location. It's on the south end of the strip next to pretty much every major casino. All within walking distance. The staff is always been friendly they've always upgraded my room for free and as for the gaming floor there isn't a lot of kids running around that's only in the kid gaming area. Best place for your buck!!

This is a great place if you have children.....for couples, not so nice! Lots of families here and so lots of kids around. The hotel is old and really needs to be torn down. There are four towers to get to your rooms and that makes it a long way from your room for it seems like it takes you 15 min to get to the casino! Food is OK nothing to brag about. Gambling was horrible, machines never paid anything....I decided not to go back here again.

As the title indicates I was very pleased with my 1 night stay. I had an efficient check in. My room was very nice it was their standard room and it seemed very clean.
My check out was fast despite a long line as they expedited the check out. The lunch buffet had some very good items others were decent quality. vp not good at .25 level.

Good location on the strip. Reasonable room rates. Buffet forgettable. A good variety of food choices. The Tournament Banquet is a must do. Some decent vp but not a lot. I happen to like the medieval decor and format. Pool area is good for the range of prices.
